About Me

Howdy folks — I’m Chief Beef Slinger, Jeff. After 25 years in IT sales in Corporate America, I traded the boardroom for the barn. Our family comes from a long line of Texas ranchers, and today I’m proud to be carrying forward our 5th generation family operation at 3C Joppa Cattle Company. Our mission is to take that heritage and evolve it into a healthier, more accessible, better-tasting, and fairly priced beef program by raising premium American Wagyu and selling it direct-to-consumer.

The “why” behind my transition runs deep:

  1. I personally witnessed the power of the carnivore diet to transform health.

  2. I dug in and learned how beef is produced and distributed in this country — and knew there had to be a better, healthier, more transparent, and cost-effective way to get quality beef onto family tables.

  3. I had the blessing (and challenge) of my family’s existing ranching infrastructure — a ranch that needed a lot of upgrades, but also offered a foundation to build something meaningful.

  4. And truth be told, I love being outdoors in nature, where I can witness and participate in creating better habitat, healthier soil, and a future rooted in land stewardship.

We raise cattle on native Texas grasses, finish them on a clean, all-natural grain blend for marbling, and age every cut for 14 days. By focusing on elite genetics, regenerative ranching, and humane husbandry, we’re bridging the gap between heritage and health — bringing beef straight from our ranch to dinner tables all across the country.

For me, this isn’t just about producing beef — it’s about reconnecting people to their food, honoring the land, and delivering nourishment with transparency, ethics, and flavor. Excited to be here, learn from this community, and share what ranch-to-table looks like from the cattle side.
