  1. I 've watched all 37,527 no carb life interviews and some people say they struggled for awhile. It seems pretty common for those with health problems to take longer to feel better. Low energy.. don't feel like beef? eat butter! We know here carnivore is cheaper than SAD. I can say you're on the right track, don't doubt your decision. Muscle through the discomfort you'll thank yourself later.
  2. dunno, I don't use premixed protein drinks there's probably to much sugar etc. in them. I get some non flavored powder measure out the amount of protein I want and mix it in a bowl with a raw egg or a little water into a soupy consistency like oatmeal.
  3. not sure of your current weight, but I go with 1 gram per pound per day of IDEAL WEIGHT. meaning what would my body weigh if I was 20 years old again, in top condition weighing in for a ufc/wrestling match. true nutrition out of vista CA. has low sweetened powder. I'd encourage anyone to loose the last 20 lbs. After all, we are walking billboards for this diet/lifestyle. It's hard enough to get people to think as is. keep working at it.
  4. That's my dad. He knows his health has declined drastically, but no way could he see a correlation between his failing health and all his "life saving" medications. He'll be in a nursing home soon, unable to walk far enough to buy his groceries. But at least he is right, these things happen when you get older, nothing you can do about it.
  5. only thing I've noticed is I don't nap anymore despite not sleeping as well as when I was working 9-5. And either I've never had brain fog or still have it.
  6. When I was a wee lad my mom made me eat my peas (so she thought) I'd stuff my mouth full of peas and go to the bathroom and spit them down the toilet. If done correctly, there is no reason why this strategy won't work with "heart healthy" foods. Or, since no ones know why life happens the way it does and if carnivore makes you feel your best, tell your wife to mind her own dietary business. There is probably a greater chance you'll end up nursing your wife in time. I usually have a video about carnivore playing and she hears it.
  7. my experience at four months is don't take nutrition advice from a doctor. They truly work in a insane asylum. I applaud your reasonableness.
  8. Sorry Geezy, all out of @%#^'s to give what others eat.
  9. Could be wrong, but sounds like you could be drinking out of boredom and not thirst. Try restricting liquids until you desire water. I have the feeling any liquid craving other than water is not a thirst issue. "Sick of drinking water" is like being sick of breathing air.
  10. I dunno man, So is there a plan when your sugar fast is over?
  11. how fast you been on that carb?
  12. That's totally fine then, hopefully by the time you finish the sugar diet someone will have popularized a keto candy diet. I do know the filipinos pour sugar on their spaghetti and they love it. Anyway wherever your diets takes you I hope you do well.

yeah! the recipes are trying to figure out how to not make them taste like bugs. You're right Miranda, Side note I learned that cellulose as an ingredient is most likely wood pulp!
  14. Sounds like big candy to me. I'm hitching my wagon to "if you can't do it for a lifetime, don't do it for a day"

I am overseas right now and tried two very little air fried crickets and at first they reminded me of eating wheat right out of the husk. AND then the after taste, they suck. I'm out.
  16. sounds like the place to be. don't forget the pics
  17. Maybe its possible your body didn't react well to the newest keto cookies. Good luck with sugar.
  18. If you're a beginner cyclist, welcome to the club. If you want to avoid soreness ease up
  19. I do believe you need to know your energy intake and expenditure if you want to reach a weight goal without a lot of wasted time. The fact that you are limited to burger and eggs will make it easier. Keep your exercise routine the same. weight yourself on day one. Eat a measured amount of burger and eggs everyday for a week or two and reassess your weight/composition. then adjust your weekly intake according to your goals. good luck
  20. "pretty good at keeping snacking in check" Eat fatty beef with butter if need be, until you have to push your plate away. Snacking is the last thing on my mind when doing that.
