  1. So I walked about 5 miles yesterday in addition to my daily walking needs. It wasn't hot and I drank while walking, rehydrated the rest of the day and ate the usual amount of beef. And this morning I'm down 1.6 lbs from yesterday. I can only explain this by sweating much more than I imagined. have any stories to tell?

Without enough protein you are going to get worse. there is probably some type of protein you'll find palatable, lamb, duck, turkey, yogurt, kefir, cheese etc. anything. also maybe look into a protein powder isolate or concentrate. Me myself, I would stop eating everything until I had a desire for some type of protein. But Im not an expert. best wishes.

  4. Anyone know how to eliminate industrialized stick off my arms? I mean I can leave the shower and still smell them. oof
  5. Im just happy I can now say to SAD eaters they aren't following the U.S. nutritional guidelines!! hahahaha. Oh and my wife finally said she needs to eat carnivore. One problem is she says she doesn't like beef.
  6. Every time you feel lured as you call it, run straight for beef, don't entertain other thoughts. Run for beef!
  7. ^ Longevity experts say lifting will do so much more for you than simply walking. If I had to choose between lifting or walking the choice would be simple. I'm lifting pathetically light amounts right now but I'm putting on muscle. Since you are already at a good weight I encourage you to lift just a little. check out the longevity test on youtube and set those as goals.

  9. wonder what would have happened with a shorter fast, say just 24 hours? I will probably try that one day.
  10. why chicken?? Im gonna eat as much beef as I can and if that is not enough Ill use protein powder to make up the difference. And if I don't have enough energy Ill add butter until I do. Should be pretty straight forward.
  11. What do you guys think about shooting for 1gr of protein per "ideal" body weight. And the rest with fat to hover around and just below my daily energy expenditure?
  12. I have zero desire for any vegetable. I realize I only enjoyed salads because of the dressing. I stupidly ate three pieces of breaded deep fried chicken tenders on Sunday and couldn't work up the energy to work out on Monday. So lessen learned. Congrats, keep going Outdoorstom!

  15. so according to a chart a 3oz piece of rib eye has 8 grams of fat and 24 grams of protein. Does that mean I need to add 16 more grams of fat for a "optimum" ratio?
  16. I had a couple of chips in a shake today and was surprised how easily my teeth ground it up. They say you're suppose to bake them to kill any bacteria, but I drink raw eggs so if I was gonna get sick I probably would have already. A half of shell has a lot of calcium.
  17. Hi Robert, I don't know what type of fat that is, but I don't think you can target a certain type of fat anyways. If you stick to beef it is difficult to impossible to "over eat". If you are still experiencing that rate of weight lose keep doing what you're doing. Don't weigh yourself everyday, there is to much daily fluctuation to be useful, maybe twice a month or so. While the scale doesn't lie, it doesn't tell the whole truth either. Take pictures every month and use those for positive reinforcement. Most importantly IMO develop sustainable exercise habits you can live with the rest of your life, like walking, rucking and lifting etc. Don't count on your current rate of weight lose to continue, but you can continue to loose weight. Have fun learning about your body, nutrition and exercise!

  19. congrats man, My wife would freak if I stopped eating. But she's OK if I'm omad. congrats again.
  20. One month without shampoo. And my scalp feels better also ^. I use to have a couple of dry spots, they are gone. Weird how seeing commercials conditions you to shampoo every day.
  21. whats the weight lose when you break the fast and the following days?
