Greetings! I am new to this forum. I have been following a clean KETO program for about 3 years. I am most proud of the fact that I have not had any sugar in any form for 3 years. No fruit or any other form of "natural" or refined sugar. In the past couple of weeks, I have begun to follow more of a "Ketovore" WOE with minimal carbohydrates; usually less than 15 grams which primarily come from supplements I take and none of which have a strong glycemic impact. The most difficult parts so far of making this transition has been 1) allowing a higher percent of the macronutrient protein (usually 30% instead of 20%) and 2) not having nuts such as pecans, Brazil and macadamia nuts. I would appreciate any perspectives or experience based suggestions from others who have emphasized more carnivore choices in their ketogenic way of eating.
