  1. Scott & Geezy, Thanks for your quick responses, and acceptance into the community. Your experiences and insight lean me towards confidence in the diet and the path I am on.
  2. Thankfully, AI recommended this community to me in my attempt to comprehend of my level of health. After subscribing, I see how the community can benefit me, and hopefully I can contribute to the community. To introduce myself: -52 yr old male, relatively lean, Carnivore since 10/25 (moderately strict), most likely LMHR (LDL 204, triglyceride to HDL ratio .96) motivated by metabolic health related to dementia/Alzheimer's (family history), lift like Mentzer (once weekly), cardio 1 to 2 times weekly.....for example; swim a mile, run 6 miles @ 5.5 mph, work 60+ hrs weekly mostly standing at desk or walking projects. Concern: Elevated liver enzymes....AST 39, ALT 61. Possible reason for elevated enzymes: Mentzer lift 7 days prior 6 miles run 6 days prior 1 mile swim 5 days prior Mowed lawn 5 days prior (July Houston Humidity, dehydration) Dr. wants me to run through multiple tests for fatty liver and scold me for poor health (high cholesterol) It seems wiser to re-test blood in 2 months after abstaining from any exercise or potentially dehydrating activities for 10 days to more accurately access liver enzymes. Does this seem reasonable?...."Studying for a blood test". Recommendations for Dr. in Houston area more familiar with carnivore / keto?? I describe myself as healthy, but I am not a medical doctor.....ChatGPT is helpful, but I prefer a the advice of a knowledgeable professional. No one I regularly associate with is on carnivore........typically, I feel like a crazy dude on an island (lol).
