  1. Day 24 I ate lots of buffalo fat, meat and liver today together with six egg yolks.
  2. Day 23 - whoopee! Today I have eaten a lot of buffalo fat, liver and meat! It was tasty and I ate until I was full. I put more salt on my food than usual today to try and soothe the ache in my head. I believe that I am in ketosis.
  3. Lovely. I look forward to being able to put my hand through the screen and tasting one of these dishes in the future!!!!!!
  4. The rice cooker idea was disastrous. I will stick to frying!
  5. So today I have eaten five egg yolks cooked in ghee and quite a lot of fatty buffalo also cooked in ghee. The butcher where I buy the buffalo from is understanding me more now. I bought some fatty, soft buffalo today which I fried and it tasted really good. I will buy more tomorrow. I bought and cooked quite a lot yet could definitely have eaten more. I realised that I can use the rice cooker that I have as a slow cooker for the more tender meat. Whoopee! My cooking is definitely getting better! Here's to fat!
  6. Day 20 Today I ate lots of scrambled eggs and buffalo. All cooked in ghee.
  7. I bought some more buffalo today. Even though it was not that fatty, I cooked and ate a fair amount of it. I am really chuffed. I was going to fast for a while after I finish the eggs that I have. Instead I have decided that I am going to see what a few days, at least, of eating buffalo does first. After watching many carnivores, I am telling myself that my brain needs meat right now. Thank you to everyone on this channel. I am grateful to you all for your support, knowledge and mutterings!   8. Day 19 This morning after eating some ghee I ate 6 scrambled eggs cooked in ghee.
  9. Day 18 I have eaten around twelve scrambled eggs cooked in ghee today!
  10. Day 17 - whoop, whoop! I ate 13 scrambled eggs with ghee today.
  11. Day 16 Today I ate 6 scrambled eggs and 6 buffalo burgers, all cooked in ghee! Glad I am still here!

  14. I think I'll stick to cooking eggs and chicken livers. I have tried boiling the meat and searing it for a short while. Both were inedible. I will be in another country in a couple of months. I have found what looks like a great butcher close to where I will be living. They sell beef. Whoopee!
  15. Thank you Bob. Much appreciated. Doh! I was thinking that I need to cook it for longer! I am actually boiling some now. I bet I over cook this batch too. Usually I like it medium rare or rare! I am learning!
  16. Day 15 I have eaten some ghee today as well as 3 fried eggs cooked in ghee and a small amount of buffalo cooked in ghee. I bought some buffalo meat today. I was so happy to have bought it as well as some buffalo kidney. I fried some of the buffalo meat in ghee and because it was so rubbery and difficult to chew, I only ate a small amount. When I bought the buffalo I just said to the butcher that I wanted it to be fatty. I did not even think about which part of the animal I wanted to buy. I have little knowledge about things like that. I could have researched before buying. I am now thinking that maybe for the rest of the meat that I have, it would be best to boil it so that it softens and maybe drink the water that I cook it in instead of draining it or eating the meat raw. Argh. I was and am so happy that I bought some buffalo. Now I need to learn how to cook it. I tell you what, I am learning so much about myself on this carnivore journey.
  17. Day 14 Today I have eaten a fair amount of ghee followed by six egg yolks and chicken livers cooked in ghee. I am at a cafe right now drinking water that I have mixed Himalayan salt into. While paying for the water I see thay they are selling many cakes at the counter and one is labelled sugar free. In the past I would have bought that and told myself that it was ok for me to eat. Today my ego had a few things to say about it yet I have stayed away from it. Progress! Namaste
  18. Day 13 I've eaten lots of egg yolks today and some chicken livers.
  19. Day 12 Today I ate a lot and felt full at the end of it. That's a first! I started with some ghee. I was taking some ghee out to cook and decided to eat a little. It tasted different today. I really liked it. That could be to do with the fact that it was refrigerated and/or because I, my body and my taste buds are changing. So ate some more, quite a lot. After that I ate ten egg yolks cooked in ghee and some chicken livers.
  20. Day 11 Today I have eaten chicken livers. The second plate was cooked in a lot of ghee. I have also eaten a plate of fatty kidneys. Namaste
  21. Day 10 Today I have eaten chicken livers which I cooked at home. I have also eaten two plates of what is shown in the picture. I thought that they were liver in the past and have referred to them as that. Today I have found out that they are kidneys! Namaste
