Managing the electrolytes?
Thanks for tips. I noticed the complex has flaxseed oil and other plant products. Since it doesn't stipulate how much, I guess not to worry?

Are these compatible with the carnivore diet? Ketovore diet?
I wasn't aware of such a thing, thanks.

Are these compatible with the carnivore diet? Ketovore diet?
Something seems to still be causing inflammation in my neck. I need to determine which on the list might be contributing. I stopped the almond milk, flax seeds, chia seeds, cumin, and hemp hearts. I may or may not introduce them back, probably not the almond milk and not the flax and chia seeds. I started to drink matcha as a substitute for the instant coffee. I may switch to regular brewed coffee. Thanks for your input.

Managing the electrolytes?
I haven't made the homemade electrolyte mixture yet. I need to do further research on which form of magnesium to use. Citrate, sulfate, and maleate have been suggested so far. Currently, I just use a little salt and No Salt (potassium chloride) in water, plus I take magnesium glycinate in a capsule every night.

Freaked out
I'd like to get off Lipitor (Atorvastatin). I recently heard Dale E. Bredesen, author of Ageless Brain, say in an interview that Crestor can be a better choice. I'd like to get off altogether, but I haven't been on the diet very long and am not being super strict about it yet. Will see my new cardiologist in June and am hoping he's receptive to carnivore and nutritional treatments. I'd like to find natural alternatives for: Multaq (dronedarone) - antiarrhythmic Pradaxa (Dabigatran etexilate) - blood thinner Toprol (Metaprolol) - beta blocker Lipitor (Atorvastatin) - cholesterol

That makes sense.🙂 Food Bank hasn't responded to my offer, so maybe they don't want anything on my meager list.😆

Cravings.
The Kirkland Thick Sliced Center Cut Hickory Smoked Bacon I got at Costco says 0 carbs and 0 sugars but is cured with water, salt, sugar, sodium phosphate, sodium erythorbate, and sodium nitrite. Is the sugar in the cure a problem?

Found a food bank near my house for the almond milk.

Hello everyone :)
I have to try that. Had to look it up to see what it is.😁

Are these compatible with the carnivore diet? Ketovore diet?
Flax seed and chia seeds are safe for wild birds, so I can get rid of those that way. Not sure how to get rid of about 46 cartons of almond milk unless I throw it away. Maybe donate.

Managing the electrolytes?
Are magnesium sulfate and magnesium citrate interchangeable in the mix? I see magnesium sulfate in one recipe and magnesium citrate in another.

Thanks. Is it a necessary ingredient for electrolyte mix?

Managing the electrolytes?
I found this recipe for electrolytes. It has magnesium citrate instead of magnesium sulfate. Was the suggestion for magnesium sulfate a mistake? I think I'll order the magnesium citrate since I had difficulty finding a magnesium sulfate that I thought would be appropriate. I already take magnesium glycinate at night. I won't be using sugar. Not sure about citric acid? I didn't see how much water to use. A gallon? Salt: 1 teaspoon (regular table salt or sea salt will do the trick) Potassium chloride: 1/2 teaspoon (you can find this at some health food stores or online) Magnesium citrate powder: 1/4 teaspoon (again, health food stores or online retailers should carry this) Sugar or a sugar substitute: 2 tablespoons (this helps with flavor and energy, but it's optional) Citric acid: 1/2 teaspoon (for a little tanginess) KÜHL Born In The MountainsHomemade Electrolyte Drink - KÜHL’s Guide to DIY BeverageHomemade electrolyte drinks are the unsung hero of today's fitness-conscious and health-centric society. Happy Easter
I have quite a supply of Nescafe instant. I've been having one super strong cup a day. I hope it won't cause an oxalate issue.

Managing the electrolytes?
I had a cramp in my thigh muscle last night in bed and also a slight cramp in my upper right arm while washing the car today. I started taking fine sea salt in my water so far.

Thanks for letting me know. I need to learn about oxalates.

Managing the electrolytes?
Can you recommend a good brand of magnesium sulfate? I've been searching Amazon and not finding much. I use Original No Salt to "salt" my food. It contains 690 mg of potassium per 1/4 tsp (potassium chloride, potassium bitartrate, adipic acid, silicon dioxide, mineral oil and fumaric acid). Does this qualify as an electrolyte source for potassium chloride?

I suspect that allulose I've been adding might also be contributing to mine unless I'm making my instant coffee too strong, or a combination of both. Monk fruit arrived today. Will test tomorrow in place of allulose.
