  1. I'm taking a multi-vitamin right now that has Vitamin C. I've also heard that it could be Vitamin K as well. I'm not taking that, so I might pick that up next time I'm at the store.
  2. I'm thinking the same thing, that this diet is making me healthier and able to heal faster. My daughter got really sick recently. Chills, fever, not being able to eat. Coughing, sore throat. Then she gave it to her dad and step mom. A week later, her brother came down with it. It's had no effect on me whatsoever. Recently I've been working on laying tile and painting my mom's place. As I was getting up last week, I pulled something in my back. I could barely walk. I thought it would likely take a long time to heal, but it ended up healing in about 4 days. I'm thinking that my diet is making me healthier. But, I'm not sure. The only thing worrying me is I seem to have a lot more bruises than usual. I'm not sure what that's about.
  3. Plus buying fresh food and it going bad before I could eat it. With meat products, I don't have that problem. I freeze the extra meat until I'm ready to eat it.
  4. I'm starting to wonder if carnivore is actually cheaper. The last 2 times I went to the grocery store, I spent noticeably less money. I think it's because I'm not blowing all my money on convenience foods maybe. Yes, steak is expensive, but I bought the whole rib on sale and cut them up into individual ribeye steaks and that's lasting. I've started saving my bacon grease to fry my eggs in. Before I was using ghee and that's rather pricey. I chose the bacon with the less expensive cut at Walmart and it's just as tasty to me.
  5. I rarely drink, unless it's a social occasion, because I don't like alcohol. I might have a kahlua and cream, once in a blue moon, because it tastes good.
  6. It's tricky when you've been raised a certain way. My favorite foods have always been in the bread and fruit food groups. Also dairy. Meat and vegetables were my least favorite. I had no problem with that until 6 years ago. My health and weight started changing and nothing worked to change that. Until I tried carnivore. I think our kids and family members are going to have to come to a point where they really want it and then they'll change.
  7. I just wish I'd known all this years ago, so I could have raised my children differently. I was trying to talk to my oldest son today about how healthy meat is. I told him how they've lied to us all these years and that I'm learning that meat is the most nutrient dense food there is. I think he believed me, so that's a start. Now if I could just get him off of his mountain dew addiction. I've also been talking about this carnivore diet with my 2 youngest. Maybe some day, they'll try it, because I do worry about their health.
  8. I had bacon and eggs. Leftover chicken breasts with sharp cheddar cheese. Also coffee with heavy cream.
  9. Yes, I do. I started out on Atkins, which I learned is possibly now called keto? I did that for months and lost 15 pounds. But, it stopped. After watching some things from Dr. Berry on youtube, I decided to try his BBB & E diet. I've been doing it for about a week. So, I basically only eat meat and eggs. Plus cream in my coffee. I've noticed the scale is finally going down. Yay! I'm starting to believe meat is healthy. Although, I feel like I've been brainwashed my entire life to believe the opposite. Ha.
  10. I looked it up and it had beans in the ingredients. But thank you.
  11. Where do you get carnivore friendly mayo? Is there a brand name?
  12. As long as it's in an outdoor setting, then it doesn't bother me. If it's indoors though and there are many smokers, then it can get to be a bit much. So my opinion, I like the idea of it not being allowed at indoor public places.
