  1. Thanks @Scott F. I just have to stay ahead of it… since that episode, I’ve been taking more electrolytes.. extra magnesium and I am fine.
  2. Thanks @Scott F. . I was basically gritting my teeth - strange feeling. It did seem to pass some after the mag but who knows? Tonight taking more mag with my electrolyte powders.
  3. So woke up this morning feeling quite jittery…. don’t know how else to describe it… had electrolytes last night.. plenty of potassium, sodium, some calcium and 200mg magnesium… had the same in the morning.. did eat quite a bit of protein yesterday. Still new to this and learning my lyte intake needs! Maybe needed more mag? Just had a dash of redman salt in a glass with more mag.. drinking water.. feeling better… thoughts?
  4. Thanks for the information. I wondered about that with something like blueberries when in season. I ate 2 hot dogs today at lunch, then some blueberries tonight, 3 eggs and 4 pieces of pork tenderloin. So far so good!
  5. Wow! I have fasted 48 hours before and felt like a super human lol. Thanks for the info. I am finding the hardest thing is to plan ahead or prepare for the meal. Where I work, the cafe does not have much in the way of beef every day. Still trying to figure it out.
  6. I started intermittent fasting last year and really started focusing on cutting carbs in the last few months. Now I want to try carnivore. What is the max carbs one should eat in a day and would a nut butter or berries be ok? I am NOT a salad person lol.
  7. Thanks Terry :) Good to know! I am sensitive to stevia but I think the LMNT may have an unflavored version. I’ll check out the website.
  8. Thanks Bob! Glad to be here. I will look into those products and update soon :)
  9. Hello I am a newbie to this group. I have been intermittent fasting for over a year…skip breakfast… I was diagnosed with breast cancer February 2024 so it was time to get my act together. I want to try carnivore and have over the last couple of weeks increased my protein intake (meat and eggs mostly). I am beginning to have leg twitches and some heat sensation that comes briefly and passes in my left calf. I do not have any edema… no redness… just muscle twitches and that brief heat sensation. From reading the posts, it appears I may have electrolyte issues as well. I am going to add some magnesium and see if that helps. Thanks for all of the information. It is super helpful for me as this is mostly a new process for me.
