I never could tolerate protein powders.. maybe my system is so sensitive… real food is hard to beat.

I have no idea. I looked it up. Some of the minerals come from red algae grown in a pond near Iceland, which sounded weird, lol

I was taking Fast Lyte brand… not sure why but started noticing bruising in my legs.. more pain than usual, the night jitters… strange… would feel better when I took a dose but then it seemed to work against me… I had some old Dr. Berg brand in the pantry.. took 2 days of those and boom… all better… so not sure if that Fast Lyte brand (supposedly made in USA) was junk?? I am sensitive to stevia but may get some of the LMNT brand as they do have one version without it I believe… I have to be careful with taking to much as well… have thyroid issues and it gets stimulated too much so just trying to find a balance. Have a great Monday!

I've done 92 hours. I would love to get a 100 hour "Centaury" fast completed this year yet. From about 36 hours onwards I just feel energized. It makes my brain all tingly 🤣

It either simply looks really good or it looks really good because I haven't eaten since Tuesday night.
    Maybe a bit of both.

Smoked ribeye's and SPAM for my OMAD today. I couldn't even finish my one steak. My wife out ate me today and almost finished hers.
The third one will be ribeye taco's this weekend.
1500+ days and still not sick of meat 🤣.

    Good to hear.
I broke the fast this morning. Mostly because we have a family gathering tomorrow night and I don't come out of the fasts as well as I would like. If I waited til tonight or tomorrow I would be "loose" in and around the gathering. It lasted 62 hours or thereabouts.
I went with the boiled eggs and a couple pieces of sausage and when I woke up this afternoon it was better than previous attempts.
I think I just struggle with food on a completely empty stomach/empty system.
    But, so it goes.

Sounds like you may have solved the issue.
When I think of jitters, I think of muscle spasms, and spasms can often signal an electrolyte imbalance. I used to take a prescription drug that really messed with my electrolyte balance. I had muscle spasms all the time and cramps that would wake me up in the night. I could combat that by drinking and LMNT right before going to bed.
Since then I have dropped the prescription med and I don't often need electrolyes anymore. I just salt my food to taste, and sometimes I will take a 60mg magnesium complex capsule at bedtime.

Thanks @Scott F. I just have to stay ahead of it… since that episode, I’ve been taking more electrolytes.. extra magnesium and I am fine.

    Good to hear.
For me, mostly because I am dumb like that, in the near future I would ease up on the supplements I just added to see if the issue returns. If so, then I need that new amount. If not, it could be something else and the electrolytes and extra hydration is hiding it. (I'm not much on medicine at all, so I need to know I am not just taking something to be taking something. Again, 'cause I'm dumb like that, LOL)
But it is great to hear you worked thru the issue and got to better ground.
Always good to hear when something works out to the good.

Thanks @Scott F. . I was basically gritting my teeth - strange feeling. It did seem to pass some after the mag but who knows? Tonight taking more mag with my electrolyte powders.

HELLO CARNIVORE WORLD!! well a portion of it but it’s a great start. My friends call me Flackowitz, I have been on carnivore for 3 months and I feel amazing. It all started when my therapist told me to try it for 30 days to help with my ADHD, 3 months later and I’m still going strong. My wife and I noticed how it changed everything in our relationship, in our home, in all of our life. As for the ADHD, I feel a lot more focused, confident, I used to have breakdowns where I would hate everything I would do and say and forget. Now the only thing is that for the last crew weeks my short term memory has gotten bad again. I wanted to ask, what adjustments can I make to the diet to help with this.
As of right now I’m eating meat like ground beef, cheese. Eggs for breakfast, I do drink some black coffee when I’m tired and I add only 1 teaspoon of Truvia. I eat pork shoulder and pork chops. Everyone that I follow on carnivore eats ribeye but I can’t afford that.
Thank you for any support you can give, carnivores say that we need to join a Comunity and this is the only one that I could find that’s free. Sometimes you need a Comunity to ask questions and meet other carnivores without paying for fiends and support so I really appreciate this page.
    Thank you
    Flackowitz

Maybe, maybe not. I don't think it is a bad idea to add some of the electrolytes back, especially if you are sweating and exerting energy. Keeping hydration and electrolytes correct is as essential as it gets.
I get the 'ansy', maybe could be described as 'jittery', feelings when my sugar drops into the 80's. If stays in the 80's/90's during the day I don't have any issues, but if gets to the 80's, especially in the mornings, I have a feeling similar to what you describe.
Stay on top of it and maybe it is nothing more than some healing and some adjusting.

So woke up this morning feeling quite jittery…. don’t know how else to describe it… had electrolytes last night.. plenty of potassium, sodium, some calcium and 200mg magnesium… had the same in the morning.. did eat quite a bit of protein yesterday. Still new to this and learning my lyte intake needs! Maybe needed more mag? Just had a dash of redman salt in a glass with more mag.. drinking water.. feeling better… thoughts?

Yesterday was leftover a left over T-Bone and eggs, four scrambled.
OMAD and the satiety of red meat can be crazy at times. I walked yesterday morning just shy of 3.5 miles with some pushups along the way.
I showered and went to the shop working on two old truck projects (needed them like I needed another hole in my head). I worked pretty much all day between the two and then came in around 6PM. I logged on to the internet, let the TV play and looked for more parts for my two trucks.
At bedtime around 9PM eating had not crossed my mind since earlier that morning. It is 4AM, on the way to the gym and the morning walk, and not the least bit hungry.
20-ish some hours without eating and I'm not hungry, nor have the wheels fell off.
    Crazy.
