Agalla got a reaction from Bob in INTER-CONTINENTAL FRIENDSHIPS..Thank you so much for sharing that! It’s really encouraging to know you’ve connected with several people from Africa and even have a friend serving in Botswana — that’s wonderful.
I totally understand that most travel or exchange opportunities are often tied to immigration or refugee programs. Still, just hearing that people like you are open to friendships across continents means a lot. Sometimes, all it takes is someone sharing knowledge, a contact, or even encouragement to help others explore safe and legal ways to connect or travel.
If ever you come across any non-immigration cultural exchange programs, educational links, or short-term visit ideas, feel free to share. And even if not, staying in touch like this still builds bridges.
I truly appreciate your openness!

Agalla reacted to Bob in INTER-CONTINENTAL FRIENDSHIPS..I know several people in Africa. Most of them are through forums like this one. One of my friends who used to live here in Ohio now serves as a missionary in Botswana.
I don't know of any specific programs outside of programs designed for refugees and others seeking asylum or legal immigration into the United States, which is where I happen to live.

Agalla got a reaction from Copper in Am New here, welcome meGreetings to the Carnivore family,
My name is David from Tanzania, East Africa. In my journey of exploring ways to lose weight, I was fortunate to come across a link to this group. I’m truly excited to join and learn from people of all ages and backgrounds.
I’m 43 years old and have a relatively large body frame. I enjoy exercising, playing basketball, and cycling — especially for short-distance errands. However, my main challenge has always been diet. That’s why I decided to join this community — to gain knowledge, share experiences, and be part of a new family.
I understand not everyone will accept me, but I also know not everyone will reject me. I kindly ask for your warm welcome and support wherever I may be needed. Africa has its own unique insights and practices that might also be valuable to those in developed countries.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
