  1. We frequently hear that red meat is not good for your body and you need to eat white meat instead. They say eating red meat will cause heart disease. How true is this statement? Are there any studies that connect eating red meat with heart disease? Does eating a lot of red meat actually put you at risk of heart disease?
  2. I like fish, chicken, duck, quail, chicken eggs, and goat meat. I do not eat beef and pork because it is taboo food in my culture. I have tried ostrich and turkey but I do not eat these birds too frequently, What is your favorite meat?
  3. Well, I do not eat meat and meat products every day, I eat meat 3-4 times a week. When I eat meat, I combine meat dishes with plant-based foods (vegetables, rice, bread, etc.). While I enjoy meat and I feel very good on the day when I eat meat, however, eating too much meat also causes constipation. Therefore, I always eat a lot of veggies when I am eating meat. Do you eat meat every day?
  4. Is there a difference between animal-based protein and plant-based protein? I mean does your body differentiate the source of protein and treat animal-based protein and plant-based protein differently? I read somewhere that your body does not absorb the entire protein in your food and the percentage of protein absorption for animal-based protein is higher compared to plant-based protein, is that true?
  5. Do you like to eat real meat or processed meat? By real meat I mean the meat you buy from a butcher's shop and processed meat means meat products like sausages, salami, canned meat, etc. I like buying meat from a butcher shop and making my meat dish instead of buying and eating processed meat. Real meat is not only tasty but also very healthy.
  6. While I was aware of the terms ultra-processed and processed food, I did not know the basic difference. Thanks for this informative post. I do not eat a lot of ultra-processed or even processed food, I like eating home-cooked foods. There are two reasons why I avoid processed foods, one they are expensive, and two, they are less healthy compared to the real food items you buy from the grocery.
  7. I balance my diet by combining a vegetarian diet with a carnivore diet. When I eat meat, I always eat a lot of veggies as well. For example, my chicken soup is not just chicken, it also contains a lot of cabbage, onion, and spinach. I don't work out in a gym but I regularly go for a walk for health and fitness. When my body feels good, my mind also feels good.
  8. I have not been all-carnivore diet, therefore, I have no personal experience in this regard. However, I have experienced the positive benefits of eating meat when you combine it with a vegetarian diet. For example, when you eat fried chicken with a lot of salad, you will not only get a lot of protein but also a lot of fiber. If you want to eat a carnivore diet avoid processed meat.
  9. While lab-grown meat will certainly stop environmental damages caused by the meat industry, nevertheless, the main question that needs to be addressed is at what cost? Lab-grown meat will surely save resources that are otherwise used for raising animals for meat but we will also be putting artificial meat inside our body that might have a lot of consequences.
