Recommendation(s) for Natural Alternative(s) to Blood Thinner (Pradaxa)
I'm hoping to switch from the blood thinner, Pradaxa (Dabigatran Etexilate 150 mg), to natural alternative(s). I do not want to bleed out and die if I ever have/get into an accident. Does anyone have experience with attempting a similar change? What was your experience and results? Recommendations?

Independence Day 2025. Eliminated statin tonight after years of being on one. Freedom...hope so 📿- This carnivore had a heart attack today
Yes, I did tell him that I heard long term use might contribute to dementia. I think he basically ignored what I said.- This carnivore had a heart attack today
Thanks, I'll look into that. Since Natto is plant-based, is it ok for Carnivore? Do you take it as a supplement? What brand do you take?- This carnivore had a heart attack today

It would be nice if the inflammation in my neck would go away after stopping the statin. So far, the diet hasn't eliminated it completely.- This carnivore had a heart attack today
Thanks Geoff, good food for thought. Meds to potentially quit (in order, according to my current thinking): Statin Beta blocker Blood thinner Anti-arrhythmic Then substitute with natural alternatives if helpful.- This carnivore had a heart attack today
Will you go back on a statin?- This carnivore had a heart attack today
Interesting concept, thanks. I'm on day 72 of mostly carnivore.- This carnivore had a heart attack today
Thanks Scott. I'd like to be able to get rid of the metoprolol, anti-arrythmic, and blood thinner, too, but without a carnivore-friendly cardiologist's input, I hesitate doing it on my own. I'd like to be taking all natural supplements if needed. I know there are docs available on the internet, but I think I would need someone who can look at my full heart history. I think getting off the statin might be the safest med to get rid of. - This carnivore had a heart attack today
