  1. If you must eat vegetables, fermented is the way to go. And sauerkraut is delicious, so there.
  2. High protein, just not bio-available. A pork chop would do fine. And I've eaten my share of beans over the decades... protein shakes, etc. Bloat city.
  3. Today I learned what a nephrologist is. I wish I could help with a recommendation but do not live in FLA. Good luck.
  4. I have about 5 pair of pants I cannot fit anymore, too big. Mind you I only went from size 32 to 29. But having low body fat, those pants are just not comfortable anymore. I can still wear them, and no one will be the wiser, but I just like good fitting clothes. I also went from M size to S and had to replace some shirts. Asking for a friend, what size boots are those?? 😆
  5. Glad to see that. Make Finland healthy again!
  6. It's why I just favor separate supplements, which I take as I need.
  7. If you happen to draw me, I would like you to draw again, so somebody else can take the prize. I really was just making conversation in this thread, no prize needed for me.
  8. It is pure addiction, for sure. To know this, is the most important step. A mental switch is needed as well.
  9. I am sure this quote is from Nemo. I responded to that post. I also think it's all in jest, as I know very well what it is like to not walk. Fortunately never had gout, sounds painful.
  10. It changes once you're fully fat adapted. I am dropping prime dookie, smooth as a nuclear submarine, don't even have time to see what's what on my phone.
  11. In the very beginning that happened to me. I wasn't concerned as I was feeling fine.
  12. The one thing I've noticed since I started, I haven't been sick over a year. I have no allergies to speak of.
  13. Bigger meals, fattier meat. Chicken and pork rinds should be considered a supplement to a meal. You will figure it out. You're still in a transitional period. This is the time to find out how bad you've eaten all those years lol. Good luck!
  14. Welcome to the crazy house!
  15. In The Netherlands it works like that as well. Lots of vacation, sick days, everything taken care of, but high taxes, etc. That indeed is separate from quality. But within the EU you have regulations that make food safer and better, and there is a cost involved.
  16. I consider myself educated, even though my statement was a bit hyperbolic.
  17. I put hotdogs (Frankfurters) in the ham and sausage category, choose with care. My local store has locally made hotdogs, and I can assure you, these are no different than eating a bratwurst, or a good ham. This meat is "processed", as in smoked, cured, etc. Those products can be made at home without needing chemicals or fillers, and has been done for centuries. So me personally, I am not afraid of hotdogs, lunchmeat, or hams, but I choose carefully, with regards to fillers, flavor enhancers, and sugars.
