Congratulations on such great success in such a short time. You are doing great. Like Scott I’ve never had to deal much with allergies. In the spring I’d get some itchy eyes but that’s gone. For me, carnivore reversed so many things in my body and I feel so much better that I’ll always eat this way. After 3 years it’s a lifestyle now and not a diet.

Congrats on your successes. I personally didn't have asthma nor allergies, but I had an autoimmune disease that made a lot of things difficult for 6 plus years. Some similarities are none of the doctor's ever said, "Let's address your diet/nutrition, for this we have Pill #1 and for that we have Pill #2, and then Pill #3", and so on and so on. I guess I had some food addictions but I went cold turkey to carnivore and didn't experience cravings nor withdrawal type issues. I guess my bonus was I had no idea of the benefits of carnivore. My initial thoughts were it was just another weight loss hack. I tried it for no more reason than to drop a few pounds. 6-8 weeks later I was no longer taking pills for pain and inflammation. "Who'da thunk it?". Congrats on your progress. After two years I can't imagine eating another way. Scott

I am 103 days into my first carnivore journey, and so far, so good. I started because I had a terrible candida infection, my asthma was out of control, and my allergies were so severe they kept me from functioning — not to mention having pneumonia three times in six years. The carnivore diet wasn’t something I wanted to do, but I knew I needed to try something different. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life on inhaled and oral steroids. So far, I am down to one steroid inhaler and one over-the-counter allergy medication, and I’m hoping to wean off those soon as well. Has anyone here also suffered from allergies and asthma? If so, how long did it take before you were able to come off all your allergy and asthma medications? I am also a food addict, and I never expected this way of eating to free me from my food addiction. That has been an unexpected bonus. I just wanted to feel better physically. I truly never thought there would be a solution to my food addiction — I believed I would have to live with it for the rest of my life. I am 59 years old and have struggled since I was 16. I thank God for the six years of respiratory suffering because it ultimately led me to freedom from the food addiction I had battled for most of my life. I do feel saddened that among all the nutritionists, doctors, eating disorder therapists, and treatment centers I encountered over the years, not one of them ever mentioned a proper human diet. I am deeply grateful for the carnivore diet and for all the people on social media who have shared their experiences.

I'm new to carnivore and on day 103 today. I was experiencing terrible and different cramping than I've ever had before. I too played around with Magnesium, potassium, salt, electrolytes, different amounts of water and I would get some relief but never took away the mid sleep wake ups resulting in walk arounds in the house until the cramps went away. I tried the Saltt Minerals, within two days, I slept through the night. Only downside is it taste terrible. I take a tsp twice a day and chug it in 6 to 8 ounces of water. Lab work is better than guessing to find out what you are actually deficient in. I empathize with you because the cramps are super painful. Wishing you a speedy remedy to help with the cramping.
