Yep, Denali's 20,310 ft, so we'll take that one 😄

Fair, you got us there. Dufourspitze beats Whitney by about 700 ft. I concede.

lol, no contest. Measured from the ocean floor, Mauna Kea is taller than Everest.
Not that I'm climbing either one.

On Reddit and in here we get a lot of newbies. They are just starting out, still learning. So we have to be patient and kindly give them the guidance they need.

You're right about rabbit starvation, and the risks of heating too low fat and too high protein. The fat is our fuel.

Wow, what a view! That scenery is breathtakingly beautiful.

I looked up the height of the Niesen, which is 7749 ft. That's taller than anything we have here in the Appalachian mountain range in the Eastern U.S. (the west has the Rockies, and they get super tall over there). Climbing all the way to the top of the Niesen is no joke.
And yet you did it without carbs, lol 😝

Hey Jeremy. lol, you had me going for a second with the 9th language!

    Ah, got it 👍

Your English comes across pretty good, even though I could tell it's not your first language. And I like the idea of trying to read articles without translating them as way to learn it.

Few weeks ago, I climbed to the top of the Niesen, the view was made from there...

I think @jr1776 was being funny, because in his post entitled "My Journey [LONG POST]" in the Introductions forum he went from keto, then ditched the veggies, and went full carnivore.

I'm also guessing English isn't his other tongue.

I personally noticed my sweat smell worse when I'm eating chicken or pork (for the pork it depends of the meat cut)

So until now I had only show the meat i cooked.. I finally took a picture of what is a typical complete meal for me. Thats my second meal of the day, I eat 2 times a day, breakfast and the second one around 4pm. Here I have 400gr of pork neck, 2 eggs and 80gr of butter.

These days its about Sardines. I often buy the frozen raw 1kg bag avalaible at a nearby supermarket. They are complete with head, tail and organs which intentisifies the smell while cooking, my mother visited me this morning just after I cooked them, I tought she was going to pass away 🤣 she still have traumastim about the fridge at the time i was living with hem

    Dont worry that's just a rabbit... 😅

Talking of rabbit, do you already heard of rabbit starvation?
It make me want to do a little advise... but first: Im new on these forums and I want to specify that all my post on this thread are only meat I have cooked but definitely not my complete meal, I eat astonishing quantity of butter (always cold, i love to spread it on my meat or even eat it alone) i also eat lots of eggs and cheese. So get back to the advise I wanted to share... I was for long on the reddit carnivore community, i dont know yet if people have more knowledge here.. so lot of people there sharing their meal and are just eating f*cking lean, this is really dangerous, we cannot live on proteins, and actually you can even be poisoned of it if you only get it, the famous rabbit starvation I named before... even if you are a pot of lard who could live on his fat for weeks or months, you cannot do this! If you want to fast you can but at the time you eat you need a good ration between prots and fat, otherwise you will be confronted to lot of issues soon. So enjoy your life eat a lot of fat meat, and eat every meat you want, you need to enjoy this diet so if you want lean meat eat it buy be sure to add lot of fat (butter, tallow, lard) and smile, that's why we choosed this diet to get back our smile and kick out the depressive state that carbs brought into us at each meals! 😁

A few salmon fillet today! For once I might not exceed the 100gr of butter 😅 salmon is already quite nourishing 👍

Good luck and hopefully that plan works for you.
For me, there is a difference in the proteins which makes me a red meat fan.

Prior to carnivore, never really putting two and two together, the only thing I ever really differentiated between meats was that pork was less filling. Before eating primarily red meats, I could eat a ton of pork and within a little while be hungry all over again. Granted, I am sure the other garbage I was eating was adding to the hunger, but with pork, the hunger came faster.
Once going carnivore, I can feel the difference between the proteins. Chicken and fish don't seem to carry me like red meat and the pork is a distant fourth. Eggs do OK but the satiation effect of red meat really sets itself apart, at least for me anyway.
Maybe one of the uncommon things for me is that I have a better understanding of the proteins and how they work for me as most people, like me beforehand, sees a protein as a protein.

I don't use the deodorant either. I didn't think about it.
Prior to carnivore I could get hot and sweaty and smell like a goat in no time. Since, even the harder days in the gym or working here around the house I don't seem to 'give off an aroma'.
    It is sort of weird.

    Interesting subject.
I guess a couple of things that I do might be uncommon in the community are not near as uncommon as yours but I’ll play.
First off, I raise or hunt as much as 95% of the food I eat. We raise goats, cattle, sheep and chickens. I hunt deer, pigs, birds and fish a lot. We have a small far and are very self sufficient. I also eat many organ meats from those animals that most in the community don’t eat
Another thing is i rarely use deodorant and when i do it’s a very clean and natural product. I have found that since becoming a carnivore I just don’t have BO like I used too as long as I take a shower every day. I use natural soaps whenever I can and avoid those that have a bunch of chemicals in them. I’ve recently met a woman in my area who makes soap and I’m going to ask her to teach me how.
I enjoy a pioneering lifestyle where I make much of what we take for granted. I make my own yogurt, bacon, ham and tallow. I’m always looking for ways to go back to the old style of doing things.

I am not sure I have any except maybe the OMAD just sort of happened and I had to purposely eat more to off set some weight loss/strength loss. I didn't see that coming at all.
I use whatever toothpastes my wife buys and seldom get the same one two purchases in a row. Not a lot of hair to work with so care products are limited, not much more than a bar of Dial soap.
I missed last week's roundtable. I am a lifelong shift worker so my sleep patterns are not exactly ideal. Working days or nights I sleep from about 9 to 3. Prior to carnivore I could go back to sleep and get another hour to two hours and then start my day. Still an early start at 5/6 but since carnivore that has changed.
I didn't get the mental clarity or cognizant effect people talk about with carnivore. What I got was when I wake up I'm up, and there is no going back to sleep. My days now start as 3:30 AM or PM depending on when I lay down for that day. it does not sound like a a good habit but I take advantage by going to the gym really early, my day starts sooner and I get a lot more done.
Coupling that with the steady supply of energy I now get some things done vs. putting stuff off til another day.
Good topic. I hadn't thought much about it.

I can't think of anything I am doing that is out of the ordinary and considered a good habit, and least not beyond the basics. I've kicked my last vice, which was soda. I might still have one every once in a while, but I have finally acquired the taste for just plain water (as well as fizzy water). I had spent most of my life drinking diet sodas.
I don't have hair so I only use bar soap, which I get from Sam's Club in bulk. They did start carrying Dr. Squatch and I did try it and it was okay. It's supposed to be better for you - all natural and all that.
I am more regular at brushing my teeth - at least once daily now. I really don't care what toothpaste it is either. I've switched from plastic flippers, ladels, and tongs to wooden ones, and prefer real silverware over plasticware when it comes to cutlery.
I think the phone/screen time goals are rather admirable. But I run a business (construction in real life, YouTube online) so that would never work for me.

I sleep on waterbed from the 70's. I'm in love with it. It fixed my back pain when I got it 20 years ago. I will die before giving it up, lol :)

Aside of the common things that most of us probably do here, eating a carnivore diet, have a good sleep and make some physical activity, what's are your uncommon good habits to have a better life?
Personally I don't use any cutlery to eat, just my hands, i feel much more connected to the food I eat.
I also don't have bed, I sleep on the ground, I just have some exercise mat of about 0.5 Inch ~ to not be directly on the rough and cold tiles...
Finally I can mention that I don't use anymore of these shower garbage products which are full of poison... the only care product I still use toothpast but I know it's a mess too and I'm planning to make a transition to clay paste or something but I'm still exploring to find the good solution...
One habits I really want to get in at long term, which should be normal but our world make us all crazy with it... is to reduce the time spent on my phone per days to a maximum of 1hour and in only 1 session per day. I have the chance to have a life without any obligations, so I don't need to be connected or avalaible at any time which is unfortunately the pain of a lot of people nowadays... my idea is to have a phone time schedule between 7pm to 8pm everyday when my day is already completely accomplished.
And you whats your uncommon good habits?

I'm from Switzerland, here we say: "everything is good in pork" there's a lot of fun part to eat, ears, cheeks, tongue, foots, tail and a lot more!
On the pic below we have some calf's head, as you can see the parts are not very uniform, a bit of everything you will find in a head 😅
