  1. Some of my doctors do not like what I do very much. I am similar to a type 1 dialect. So I decide on my insulin and dosing. And yes I sometimes guide myself with other things. I am labeled as a non conformant/compliant patient. I do not take vaccinations. Ot bothers some of them that I am allergic to all statins. They warn me my 129 LDL is going to stroke me out. They are amazed at my heart abd kidney strength and wellness. My endrinconologist is more cool about things. One of his colleagues is carnivore for diabetes. U all be well
  2. I donot fast any more, never saw any results from it. I just do OMAD. Views differ around the subject. I do think there is a time for it to be beneficial. But I do not know when that may be. Just not sure anout it. If I away from home I may fast to travel or work. Eat when I return home
  3. Diabetic for 30 plus years. Some my doctors seem disappointed at my health and strong kidney function. At age 60 and eating a Ketogenic diet they take every opportunity to test my heart, i always get very good results. On doctor said we'll u may not have a heart issue but you most likely will have a stroke ! My last HDL was 83, triglycerides 49. Is hard to not laugh at the doc in the office. I waiting for my insulin dose to be like < 10 units.
  4. I started on July 1, 2021. Was low cab, kept lowering carbs. 14 months was carnivore. I am most likely a LADA Diabetic. C-PEPTIDE TEST slows low level of insulin production. So I more like a Type 1 Diabetic (T1DM)
  5. My focus is on the carnivore diet and keeping it simple. So my diet is primarily Beef, Butter, Bacon, and Eggs (BBBE). I am Not adding any significant amount of carbs or anything fermented. Both of those are above my comprehension level. My carbohydrate in take is always under 10 grams per day. I eat no organs or sardines. My monitoring is mostly from my Libre 2 Plus CGM. I target a blood Glucose range of 70 to 140 mg/dL. I closely watch my daily BGL graph and 7 day BGL average. I currently using only Lantus, a long acting insulin. With above mentioned diet i do not need any rapid acting insulin. Exercise is walking 3 to 4x a week for 40 minutes at a time. 200+ standing calf ups and sitting heel ups a day, sometimes many more. Supplements are D3/K2, Iodine, CoQ10. I eat mostly OMAD. My BGL is on average 120, using 30 Units of Lantus insulin per day on a split dose. Long range i hope to decrease this dose. I am in my previous stated BGL range 95+ percent of the time. I keep a close eye on: 1. BGL 2. Blood Pressure 3. HDL 4. Triglycerides 5. Height / waist ratio 6. Body mass in lbs
  6. Just a few, makes good click bait too. For some they are addicted and want their carbs back, imo. Not me, not ever. Just a few carbs can wreck my blood glucose.
