I am ready for hibernation, I have a good layer of body fat. Likely from my insulin injections to control my blood glucose. So what is the answer?? I do not really have one. So the fat must go. So on Monday, the 28th i will measure and weigh. I am thinking of eatting a bit less every other day. Also upping the exercise. Hoping for a 1 pound of weight loss per week. All while keeping my blood glucose under 130 mg/dL. Will focus on exercise to replace some of the insulin. There seems to be an elusive happy medium.

I know how it goes, u listening to a carnivore influencer, a medical doctor, sees patients. Then they start talking about oh let's say how cattle are raised. And how I w the cattle are mineral deficient in their diet. This person has stopped thinking. They are not completing their thoughts. Think about what the experts are saying or not saying.

I my world lately, Dr. Tony Hampton is in 1st place. H e sees pat I ents, is well connected, in context he is very good. Most of his videos are info packed, short, and his context is great. Coupled with Westman and Bart Kay if u need science hard to find better. Just my honest thinking.

So I take it that somewhere a computer read my medical file, looked at my cholesterol and saw i was not on a statin. So a pharmacist, working for the insurance company phoned me to make me aware of this "RISK' . I explained i was allergic to all statuns. This pharmacist went on and on as to my risks. I thanked them and said goodbye. They really did th u s, lol

What do i measure?? Well, every minute my CGM rec I rds blood glucose j watch is most of the day. The bathroom scales get used each morning. I try to avoid my weight from I creeping in the wrong direction. Blood pressure at 1 or 2x a cweek. I have never measured ketones. Never saw the need. As I am sometimes obsessed with my CGM. Some are obsessed with keytones. Is not very possible to be in ketosis 24/7, nor should u be as i understand it. Also your levels of ketosis are more a function of one's metabolic health. I usually do not count much of anything either.

Got a lovely quart of it. Is rather thick. Smells wonderful. Will use it next Tuesday for a slow cooked rib roast. The fat off the top will be for searing the roast before slow cooking. Will be nice.

Headed to my local family owned grocery store.
The ribeye is $9/lbs, and it is Christmas time. Will spend 50 to 100 dollars. I really like this store. The butcher shop is good. This is a sale price, regular price is $ 12 per pound. I eat a lot of their 85/15 ground beef, they grind it there.

Under the Proper Human Diet bell curve i am out on the tail of very zero carb. 33 plus years of diabetes, but my metabolic health is better than it has been in a long time. So many 'health issues' so well resolved. I thank all of those in the carnivore community. From the kind, the helpful, and even the rude. I have learned from all. I see myself most likely forever ZERO Carb. I feel renewed with fresh strength and courage yo continue my health journey. I am trying a few different/ new things (no, I not adding a single Carb). It is a n=1, but i not discussing it until I can quantify the results. I have discussed some aspects of what I am doing with a few individuals. Their input was some positive, and so negative. No problem. I just dug deeper and gained more knowledge. However, my Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) is providing positive insights. So to all the people out there on the Proper Human Diet, be well, enjoy the Season, and prosper on your journey. In Latin, Salvaterra comes from SALVAtion and TERRA. Meaning Save the Land. In the Carnivore Lifestyle it means: sabe you metabolic health. Welcome to my story and be well.

So many so wrong
Beef is NoT expensive at all. Is not the price per pound. Many kinds of beef are about the cost of many cereals. Say 6 dollars a pound. STOP. Consider the nutrition in the beef. You can not buy enough cereal. To match it. 11 large eggs, about $ 2.75 = 1 pound of 85/15 ground beef pretty close in nutrition, it double the nutritional value of beef on a per dollar basis. You have to think about it properly,!

I continue, trying to maintain and improve my important metabolic markers. I continue a close to Zero carb carnivore diet. No one is going to influence me to consume any carbs. I now ignore those carb pushers as they say they feel better. I really do not care how many carbs they are eating or how often. Like who eats one fowe French fry? Often I see an influencers dedicated supporters defending them. Sorry, I understand different people have different carb tolerances. As a diabetic mine is as close to zero as I can make it. Enough said. My future is a ZERO carb carnivore life. Just is where I am.

Is cranking out Glucose, so my CGM tells me. Wish I had a dial to turn it down. I could let it go but so wand my Blood Glucose Level to stay in range. So maybe a few units of fast a acting insulin. Or, some exogenous ketones? I not like either. Going to try exercise, got to get my living quarters set up so I can exercise indoors. Just trying.
