  3. Black decaf I had one yolk with 4 whites Several slices of bacon Yerba mate 6 oz smoked top round for lunch Weak decaf sun tea 4.5 oz above steak with one chicken thigh that was mixed in sour cream and Louisiana hot sauce for dinner
  4. Wish I was closer. Looks like the perfect combo!
  5. Yes! The idea is to use a small amount as medicine. Not because you "need" the carbs tho, just the added oxalate containing foods to slow the dumping process. I drink black tea with lemon for this purpose. The lemon contains the citric acid needed for alkalizing. The tea contains the oxalate. Fiber sucks it's wrecking our insides. Contraindicated.
  6. Bacon, fried egg whites (gave the yolks to my son- he hates the whites) 1/4 lb ground beef Another 10oz blade steak Bacon. Yerba mate Black coffee Black tea I thought for a moment that it was dairy free, but I think I may have eaten a slice of pepper jack cheese when I was making son's lunch.
  7. Second this! I have been trying her exercises for the past week or so and I feel better/ stronger already.
  8. Oh wow. That rash sounds pretty painful. Sally K Norton was recently interviewed by Dr Kiltz. She gives easy and cheap recommendations for dealing with oxalate dumping. Check her out. As for the last 40 lbs, I'm right there with you! Let us know how things go. I think getting some before data would be good. Blood panel and cac score.
  9. Hi, welcome to the community! So what is your long term goal? What's your why?
  10. 1/2 lb lean ground beef with creamy cheese sauce Black decaf Yerba mate with lemon 10oz blade steak Tetley decaf sun tea (very weak-,only one teabag in a quart container)
  11. Food noise is malnutrition
  12. What WOE are you coming from? What types of meat are you eating? I believe the consensus is that ruminant meat is best, so lately I have been trying to eat mostly beef, last week I ate generic grocery store Italian sausage, plus salami and pepperoni, the next day I could feel a difference in energy and mental clarity. I notice I don't feel as well on just poultry or pork. If you are looking for the zen try BBBE for a spell.
  13. 3 eggs and 3 strips of bacon doesn't really fill me up the way 8 oz of beef does. But 8oz of beef at nine would last me till about 3. Then the hunger pangs start up again. It's all better than the leptin resistance feeling I get from carbs tho. If I ate as much as Scott listed here I'd get sick, but I'm only 5'7"
  14. So far so good. It's a new contraption to us.
  15. 9am 3 fried eggs 3 strips of bacon Noon Ground beef with saco seasoning (probably won't do that again because it made me hungrier than normal, I really wanted a snack afterwards) 6p.m 6-8oz of chuck steak. 1st time using the pit boss. I smoked it for about half hour first. Two chicken thighs One more slice of bacon as I was cleaning up the kitchen. Decaf with light cream throughout the day. Ending at 8pm
  16. Wow, this thread turned to s**t quick!
  17. Just curious if you got the glasses, @Geezy ? I have been using these in the evenings They help me sleep better.
  18. I get so frustrated, while I quietly listen to DH talk about his friends health problems. I'm sure you've all been there. Knowing how to help, but knowing also that no one wants to hear it. Just praying for ears to hear and eyes to see. It does motivate me to persevere.
  19. I really would like to see some of the more intelligent, like say O'Mara, Dr Elizabeth Bright, Berry, Boz, Chaffee, Kiltz, Kay etc have a round table where they discuss the nuances, of fasting and fat needs. Sometimes I think I need to fast to optimize, but other times I think my hormones are already too thin and I don't want to stress too much and cause problems. So yeah, just within my head the battle rages, but one thing remains true ruminant meats are the best!
  20. Chuck steak 2 lobsters with butter Decaf
  21. Kiltz just interviewed Sally k Norton, yesterday. I haven't watched it yet but Old Carnivore Guy recommended it.
