  1. One major (silent but deadly) consequence I can think of is, the mindset of the near miss. In driving, when people narrowly avoid accidents it only serves to embolden the more aggressive and poor choices behind the wheel. So, if you ate some garbage and your feet didn't fall off the next day; you may be tempted to think, well a little cant hurt here and there. Until you, do it a little bit more, and a little bit more until you realize your not even close to being a carnivore anymore. Just a thought.
  2. might want to edit that
  3. I'll leave this here. Leave it to Dunkin's to eff-up bacon. I went in with some coworkers today and they all ordered something called "snackin bacon" I tried it. Why on earth would they slather some gooeey sugary sap on it? That's how they add the additive properties.
  4. I have been listening to the "Big Fat surprise" by Nina T. It is helping get over fear of fat!

  6. Yesterday, after the procedure, I had scrambled eggs. For dinner I had two blade steaks and then some yogurt.
  7. This is fascinating, thanks for keeping us posted! How are you doing otherwise?
  8. Plain cream on top yogurt Scrambled eggs Stew meat Fried eggs Decaf
  9. half a burger patty with butter Decaf Several hard boiled eggs Stew meat and fries. Club soda
  10. Today I mashed butter into hot hard boiled yolks. I saw Courtney, on M.E. Lion/YouTube recommends this because it tastes and feels like mashed potatoes. I boiled eggs this morning just to have on hand and some were cracked open so I thought, why not? It was soooo so good!
  11. Yesterday Dinner was the remainder of the beef stroganoff soup. Fried eggs and sausage links. Ham and Swiss omelette
  12. This seems like an okay place to put this. I haven't had chronic health diagnosis that involve debilitating pain or medication so sticking to Carnivore has been a challenge for me. My why is the future, my longevity, quality of life, and avoiding the things mentioned above. I turned 50 last year so I have had some previews of what's to come if I remain motionless and continue on the broad path. This morning as I was tempted to eat one of the expertly crafted bananas pancakes on the table in front of me, I tried to envision them as farts and brain fog.
  13. Yesterday was seared chuck eye for dinner. Stewed top rounds steak with sour cream for lunch with a small piece of cheese toast ( it hard being the cook) Breakfast was bacon and decaf.
  14. So, Gen X, was the last generation to eat well in their formative years. I can remember the change to low fat took place in my tweens and is it any wonder I got the worst sunburn of my life and was in the hospital for pneumonia in the same year when I was 13.
  15. That's a challenge for sure, you did great! I find that fasting during those things can sometimes make it easier for me, that way I am not comparing my food to theirs and finding it wanting.
