ljimd got a reaction from Orweller in Thoughts on coffee and vitamins?Yes, up near the lake. (snowbelt, ugh!)
I'll re-educate myself on the B's. Could be I might need to keep closer eye on it. The wife hates organ
meats so I rarely have them but I like liver.

ljimd got a reaction from Geezy in Thoughts on coffee and vitamins?Appreciate your thoughts and the reply. I agree that it's debatable how much of the water
soluble vits we use and that ruminants probably supply, most, if not all we need. I do the
complex mostly out of habit and convenience.
As I said, I value your input and try to keep an open mind with all opinions.

ljimd got a reaction from Bob in Thoughts on coffee and vitamins?I don't mind advice, after all that's why I'm here. My B50 tab includes 400 mcg folic acid, and 50 mcg of biotin.
Why the focus on folate acid and biotin?

ljimd got a reaction from Orweller in Thoughts on coffee and vitamins?Mug of joe every morning with liberal amount of heavy cream, some salt and pat of butter. So far so good.
As for vitamins, B50, C, and D. Minerals are zinc and magnesium.
The coffee is a small pleasure in life that I would hate to do without.
The vitamins and minerals are mostly as insurance.

ljimd got a reaction from Miranda in New guy. 77yo, carnivore for 9months. Still learning.Thanx Geoff.
Unbeknownst to me, I was introduced to "carnivore" (it wasn't called carnivore then) many years ago
when I followed an old time bodybuilder named Vince Gironda. He espoused steak, eggs and heavy cream when doing
contest prep. He fell out of favor and we all moved on.
Nutrition, bodybuilding and health have been my hobby on and off ever since. Mother nature is catching up with me.
So here I am.

ljimd got a reaction from Meathead in New guy. 77yo, carnivore for 9months. Still learning.Thanx Curt. I'm still trying to get the hang of navigating the form. Even though I've been practicing this life style for a
while, I've still much to learn, questions to ask and battles to fight.
