Outdoorstom got a reaction from Bob in Irregular heartbeat and palpitationsGood timing for this post. I’ve been on metropolol for about 5 months now. I bought an Apple Watch a couple months ago and I’ve discovered my heart rate has been getting very low, sometimes into the upper 30’s. I don’t have a cardiologist here in Florida so I asked for a telemedicine appointment with my doc in Ny. I was told I have to be in NY to get a telemedicine appointment. I cut my dosage in half (it was 25mg) and still had the issue. Yesterday I stopped taking it altogether. I’ll be home on the 19th of April and will go in then. I was put on the med due to my heart rate being over 100, 12% of the time when I wore a Holter for 3 days.

Outdoorstom got a reaction from Healthy1 in Chuck RollI went to Costco tonight and picked up a 24 lb chuck roll at $4.97 a lb. This is my 4th one since January 1st….love these things. It’s almost exclusively cooked in the crockpot overnight and the house smells so good when I wake up.

Outdoorstom reacted to Terry in Irregular heartbeat and palpitationsNever stop telling your story! You are bringing people into the healthiest way of eating they can do for themselves. We all have to tell our stories over and over until we remove all the myths and stigma about Carnivore, and how most people eat so poorly and with a few simple changes they could be living a better life.

Outdoorstom reacted to Terry in 90 days today! While digging in the freezer today I found a bag of frozen veggies from many years ago. Those are now at the bottom of our compost pit 😆

Outdoorstom reacted to ketomonster in 90 days today!I have zero desire for any vegetable. I realize I only enjoyed salads because of the dressing. I stupidly ate three pieces of breaded deep fried chicken tenders on Sunday and couldn't work up the energy to work out on Monday. So lessen learned. Congrats, keep going Outdoorstom!

Outdoorstom reacted to Skeptic in 90 days today!Hey Tom, nice job on the 90 days. You are through the initial tough phase of cravings, and well on to where you are seeing many benefits! Most excellent.
Ill tell ya, nothing makes me smile quite as much as someone walking into my shop that I havent seen in a while, and they look at me and say "dang! You lost a good bit of weight!"
I dont get to Florida much, but sounds like you may be headed up my way soon. Stop in and say howdy if you go through Oneonta!

Outdoorstom reacted to Geezy in 90 days today! It really boils down to what the body can tolerate or what your mindset is.
Many people will reintroduce certain things one at a time to see how it affects them. If there’s a change then they know it’s forever banned but if their body doesn’t react then they can keep it. My only indulgence is jalapenos. I love jalapeno poppers and will eat a few a couple of times a year. They don’t bother me but I don’t eat them very often either. I’ve also reintroduced some seasonings but again , sparingly.
For me it’s all about the mindset. I’m 99% pure because I came from a really bad place and have no desire to ever go back there again. I want nothing but nutritious food going into my body. I don’t see the point of eating something that my body doesn’t need on a regular basis.
We all have different physiology’s with different needs so we have to follow our own path in this journey.

Outdoorstom reacted to Terry in 90 days today!Congratulations on the weight loss so far. Carnivore gets easier as you go, at least that is what I found. I still have the rare keto treat, but not very often and never anything worse than a keto level.

Outdoorstom reacted to Scott F. in 90 days today!Congratulations on the 90 days.
Best wishes on the next 90.........

Outdoorstom got a reaction from Geezy in 90 days today! Thanks for the response. I’ve actually changed my mind on going Ketovore for the time being. Last night I was given what I believe was some solid advice on sticking with carnivore until my weight goals are met. I’m pretty close.

Outdoorstom got a reaction from Terry in 90 days today!I’m so happy I started this journey! I have been on beef, bacon, butter, and eggs, with occasional chicken or pork. I started at 209 lbs and weighed 175 today. I’m continuing, but going to Ketovore for a little variety. I don’t post a lot on here, but I do read a fair amount. I’d like to thank you guys for the encouragement along the way. It’s going to be fun to go back to NY (in fl for the winter) since I haven’t told anyone there what I’ve been doing 🙂

Outdoorstom got a reaction from Geezy in "MARCH with Motivation" - March Fitness Challenge & Daily Weigh-in!I’m fortunate to spend my winters in sw Florida. I work as a starter 2 days a week at a private golf club. This entails walking up and down the range, sending people to the tee box when it’s their time. I usually get at least 15,000 steps a day doing that. The other five days I hit the gym. I started carnivore Jan 1st and still going strong. Down 29 pounds. I go for blood work in April and I’m sure my dr will flip out when she hears I stopped my statin. I’ve been researching on what my response will be. My CAC is 412. An angiogram showed only 25% stenosis of two coronary arteries.
