I’ve read it’s really a histamine producing thing to cook beef bones in water for an hour or two or more the broth is yummy but the histamines are apparently thru the roof! who needs that?!

Carnivore diet and dating
Idunno replied to Idunno's topic in Carnivore, Ketovore, Keto, & Low-Carb Support
It is crazy out there but last night I randomly met a real stunner at a bar and it definitely broke the odds for me, as far as online dating goes which is not as serendipitous as just meeting a stunner by chance and every checkbox is checked off. So I met a wild one last night come to think of it, even with past relationships my main food request was for her to make me steak and eggs and serve it to me. It’s pretty simple. And it’s really great because women understand the instinct that strong men crave meat and steak It’s really a win win -

Dairy free creamy coffee
Idunno replied to Miranda's topic in Keto, Carnivore, & Animal-Based Recipes
Alright so the book I recommend is online for free in PDF form:: ”Caffeine Blues” it’s a scientific study for how and why to kick caffeine if you’re on carnivore (which is really an elimination diet) then you have to withdrawal from the caffeine addiction, and if you drink caffeine daily then yes you are hooked hard. It’s not too much different than using coke every day. Caffeine is a hardcore drug there are HUNDREDS of hidden chemicals in coffee. Get real Trust me, when you kick caffeine for a year you will SEE it in people who are cranked up on caffeine. You got to exit the caffeine habit there i said it -
Mushroom - beef soup
Idunno replied to Carburetor's topic in Keto, Carnivore, & Animal-Based Recipes
I dunno about mushrooms other than their flavor I think mushrooms barely belong in the human diet -
To have access to the quality salts we have today I am kind of skeptical people didn’t have a Whole Foods to pick and chose between “high quality” salts. something doesn’t add up for me i don’t understand why people need salt ive never liked adding it to my foods but now in carnivore is some requirement of sorts

So what’s up with dating when you eat zero carbs? I guess some of you don’t drink either and are on elimination diets but if you are not married and in a relationship things are a bit different so many single women their only hobby is eating food for fun. Going to fancy restaurants, new restaurants and all that nonsense I basically hate restaurants and I live in a neighborhood that is designed for foodies Let’s be honest: carnivore is an extreme diet. It’s very restrictive. And we live in a world of carbohydrate junkies and impulse foods

Enlighten me on the topic i mean what is it like dining at a fancy steakhouse? any recommendations? What am I to expect? it seems like an easy place for ordering food, they probably mostly just have steaks but you know they probably try to push salads and potatoes

I dunno about the whole no washing hair thing. The scalp gets smelly and harbors bacteria and pheromones. I think some of you are living in denial about this I never use shampoo or conditioner products but I do use unscented Dr Bronners to wash my scalp (sometimes twice in a showering to thoroughly clean) and coconut oil is my main moisturizer the funk on the scalp needs to be zapped frequently. Stinky -
Yeah those wraps look good, what are the ingredients? They are store bought?

Letting meat sit out
Idunno replied to Idunno's topic in Carnivore, Ketovore, Keto, & Low-Carb Support
Nah I have went over this with plenty of people. Store bought eggs (=places like Wholes Foods or Trader Joe’s) can be left at room temperature for 1 week or more and there’s no problem ever, especially if you crack the egg and the yolk is in tact still if the eggs stink bad or are noticeably off in appearance then I would toss that but that happens so rarely same thing with hard boiled eggs. They are good for 3-5 days left out at room temperature. -

I have not used deodorant for many years. Just baking soda applied to both pits for 5 minutes (it kills bacteria) then shower it off. I do that maybe once every week or two and more frequently during summers i think baking soda is harsh on the teeth aztek mud as toothpaste I found was the best but I’d like to hear others opinions about the mud -

I have some powdered Aztec mud which is supposedly good for the skin. Well a few months ago I was having the same tug of war about finding a replacement for lab made toothpaste I took a half teaspoon of the mud and a half teaspoon of water mixed. Brushed my teeth with it! it seemed surprisingly good on the teeth. It really did. But I stopped using it and went back to Crest. I forget why -

I’ve looked up Boca toothpaste and it looks expensive. What ingredients are in it? what all natural alternatives are there to buying store bought toothpaste? Any ideas? Toothpaste is essentially a product made in a laboratory. Although I am a naturopath who goes to length to find the truth about natural cures, I am actually using a few chemical products for my teeth Crest original formula with fluoride ACT mouthwash original formula with fluoride Listerine original formula -
Carnivore for type 1 diabetics

So with the pump your A1C is around 5.0% ? That’s really spectacular but I don’t want to have more devices stuck to my skin. I don’t want any tubes dangling from my skin. I don’t want to be hooked up to more devices. honestly I’d rather have struggles with battling blood sugars with the possibility of health issues arising i hate having to be so closely connected to a smartphone with devices and doctors monitoring me but yeah that must be a ton easier plus not having to eat candies for lows -
Vinegar Cravings and Legs Cramps on Carnivore
Idunno replied to a topic in Guest Questions & Answers
You can buy mustard seeds in the supermarket. They are potent tasting like a very rich mustard flavor Man if you’re really craving vinegar might as well just have some? I’ve heard vinegar can aggravate bacteria in the body sometimes for the worse But lemon juice might be a safer choice for people on elimination diets- 6 replies

Trouble Losing Weight?
Idunno replied to Geezy's topic in Articles, Influencers, Research, & Studies
A 5 guys burger just opened a block away from home. They do okay Now, they do double cheeseburgers without the bun, they are in a bowl with the lettuce and condiments. So it is possible to eat at 5 guys and keep it low carb but it is a impulse food environment. When you smell the Cajun fries cooking it is rather tempting. free ketchup to go was my downfall. I lost it like a chain reaction. Even though I got the burger with no buns I put tons of ketchup on my burger. Ketchup has sugar and who knows what else plus they have free peanuts so I overdid it with carbs. Not too bad but had the Cajun fries been added then we are taking a heavy carb meal and no turning back once a Type 1 Diabetic scarfs down a big serving of fries and ketchup and potato burger buns, their blood sugar will be messed up for days -

Today I went on a date with a dermatologist. She said beef tallow is a big no for the skin. Sometimes people get infected or blemished skin from it being applied to skin Then I asked about MCT oil, thinking that might impress her of my skin care knowledge, and she said regular coconut oil is better for killing microbes. That surprised me she shot down tea tree oil too, saying it’s just sort of harsh on the skin -
How are you making egg crepes? its possible I just don’t know authentic Mexican food. Your photos give me carb cravings and it needs beans and enchilada shells in my opinion you’re more in Spicy Breakfast Burrito land, it’s a spicy breakfast burrito in the shape of enchiladas
-
It’s a great effort and everything but those are not enchiladas. Man just face it an enchilada is loaded with carbs. you were just craving the enchilada sauce and beef, but let’s be real you were craving real enchiladas wrapped with carbs in your photos the sauce looks a little overcooked and it just does not look quite right but kudos on the attempt

I was surprised the raw bacon was cooked to perfection in a Nesco food dehydrator (with the heated fan element) it made amazing bacon perfectly crisp and the perfect consistency. Remarkable really. I need to get a new dehydrator like that the dehydrator made perfect beef liver jerky too, from raw liver ive never figured out how to make crispy bacon in a pan frying. Mine is always soft i am originally from Wyoming and remember lots of deer jerky. There’s deer everywhere in Wyoming I’ve never had bitong but it must have a fermentation aspect to it
