Mind you, strength training and lifting has also helped with AS. It can be crippling yes. Carnivore the all time best option for AS, in my opinion. Do not know about MS.

Heavy cream, a few eggs yolks, a pinch of salt and maybe a splash of vanilla is all you need. If you want to add a sweetener I would suggest allulose because it keeps the ice cream from turning rock hard in the freezer.

I bought a used ice cream maker off Amazon Resale so I can make Kiltz's ice cream.
Ice cream was one of my weaknesses - overdid quantity.
Haven't yet opened the box to use it yet, as I just got it a day or two ago.
Blessed Easter and happy birthday to me.

I had cheesecake too but it was carnivore cheesecake. I didn’t have ice cream but when I do it’s carnivore as well.

Could be due to nursing. I'm sure hormonal stuff is going on on top of that. Once milk production stops, that is when I would be worried, then again, I have never produced milk, so I was never worried haha.

Peter Attia normally talks out of his ass, but I am glad he is right at least sometimes. Good on him.

He's been dismissive of the carnivore diet on several occasions, in a very arrgoant and annoying way. He is in the Paul Saladino category for me. A waste of time.

As always, an expert explanation, was going to say this, but I'd sound a lot dumber. Remember folks, compare carnivore against SAD and Vegan, and questions regarding grass-fed and organic may be trivial. It doesn't have to be perfect. This is also why beef is always the best option.

    You as well sir.

Had an amazing Easter weekend. I turned 50, I ate cheesecake. Ice cream. I felt a rush of sugar, crashed hard. I great reminder, now back to my normal, carnivore. I could not stop thinking, I feel better turning 50 then turning 40. The power of the diet.

I got this thing too. Improved by 90% of symptoms gone. I do not fast, just eat when hungry. It's been a 33 year battle for me that now finally has been conquered, for the most.

I fast for the immune system reset. The autophagy and HGH release and then the stem cells pour out into the body are all pluses. On top of that there is killer energy coming out of the fast that lasts two-three-four days. I’m tracking mine but I think my energy baseline is better after several long fasts. Hard to say that for sure but it sort of feels that way.

During my devotional yesterday I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to fast as a spiritual remembrance of the suffering and death of Jesus Christ for my sins and then feast in celebration on the day of His rising from the dead to sanctify my salvation.

After taking possession of our Beef last week, it has stirred a question in me.  I was amazed at how deep red the color of the beef is, compared to grocery store beef, but even the 1/2 Beef we purchase last year.  This beef is more the color of Elk Meat.  This calf was on mama cow's milk, up to it's 11th month of life and then on a grass, cracked corn and silage diet for about 45 days before going to the processor.  The rancher tells me the meat is so dark red for two reasons.  #1.  The calf if mostly grass fed.  #2.  The calf spent 6 months in the mountains, above 9,000 feet elevation.
The negative of this calf is that it will not grade Prime and probably not even Choice, but is likely Select.   The Tenderloin we ate last week was spectacular, but the Ribeye we ate last night was about as tough as a Sirloin, but it just didn't have any marbling.  There just isn't much marbling and there is very, very little fat on the Ribeyes.  I suspect all grass fed beef is Standard or Select, not having a long Corn diet where the fat reserves are really built up.
But this got me to thinking.....   I actually wonder how "healthy" prime grade beef is, where the fat reserves are built up on a Corn diet?  In us eating that fat, I wonder how much of it clogs our arteries?  And I wonder if grass fed is much more "healthy" for us to eat?
I suspect what some of you will say, with most of the very recent data and evidence coming out regarding Keto and Carnivore on the health of humans.  But I think the question is a valid one....  There is so much negative about humans eating wheat and corn, so what's the effect of us eating Beef that has been gorged on wheat and corn?

Pot roast is so much better in cast iron Dutch oven. I have followed the same recipe in both the slow cooker and instant pot and they don't come close to the cast iron!

I use a Victorinox 8” boning knife to process my animals and it keeps a good edge but I’m very good at putting an edge on my knives.
Any really good knife is going to be pricey. My kitchen knives are Japanese and very expensive but the do hold an amazing edge.
Regardless of what you buy they all will lose their edge if not used properly. A good touch up steel is your best friend in the kitchen.
