  1. Thumbs up if you still quote this scene from time to time!
  2. I like Aldi but it's a bit out of the way for me.
  3. No advice. Have you thought of clean fasting and then feasting on a variety of fatty meat?
  4. I just saw a short that indicated that "Annie's organic" actually contained the most micro plastics. I still buy organic cream because it doesn't contain carrageen. But most organic products are a scam.
  5. Echo chamber much? But so many of his peers are seeing behind the curtain. An are saying "the emperor has no clothes!" He can't see the obvious because he is unwilling to stick his neck out.
  6. I wish! No just a London broil today.
  7. Welcome, I'm so glad to meat you!
  8. Any type of sweet taste in a beverage will impact a fast because of the cephalic phase insulin response.
  9. That's why it's best to avoid any thing with too many ingredients.
  10. A photo from our October partridge hunt
  11. @Geezywhat is the process of taking the white fat and making it into a snack. How do you store it once it is crispy. I have made some bone broth and had about and inch of fat cap on it when it was chilled. I separated it because I don't like to drink the broth with the fat. What can I do with this fat, I hate to throw it out. Is there a way to make it clean so it doesn't have to broth residue on it. I wonder if I boil it in some water?
  12. Welcome, I am so glad you found us!
  13. Hah! My husband feels the same way. I can remember, back in the day, when my mom brought home that nasty blue skim milk. We were all kinda pissed about it, actually, but we got used to it I guess. I drink whole milk occasionally with dinner, but only in a small juice cup.
  14. Yes, it's a testament to why we must not passively "trust the science"
  15. Elizabeth Bright Good Fat is Good for Women I just finished Big Fat Surprise by Nina Teicholz
  16. The part about taking ozempic, but still suffering inflammation just makes me sad. I see this with co-workers who are on the weight loss meds or have had weight loss surgery, they are not educating themselves about what to fuel themselves with or perhaps they are buying into the plant based nonsense. Sorry for rambling and not making sense, but I just get frustrated when I see people are loosing weight but they are still struggling because they are not healthy. Skinny=|=healthy.
  17. I agree with @Geezy that you might not want to do all the things all at once. For me, when I gave up the regular coffee I noticed muscle pain and tightness I had had since I started drinking it in my early twenties went away and come back immediately with just one cup.
  18. Then there is this example of mal-information. No where in this article do they discuss iodine( the halide, our body actually needs; sadly blocked by fluoride. But I'm just "uneducated" "garbage", so don't take my word for it.
  19. I love Dr McGee. His voice is still on the radio here. My favorite quote from him is, "you can't sow wild oats in your youth and expect to reep a rose garden in your marriage" too bad I heard that 15 yrs too late.
  20. Amen!
