Bad advice
Hmmm, my motives are to retrieve all the $$$ Easter eggs the insurance company is offering. Someone close to me often reminds me to never leave money on the table. He's getting paid --not to sell a product -- but to give bad intel. He probably doesn't know diddly squat about insulin or what actually causes heart disease. He will, no doubt, be reading from a script. So I will listen to his speil, I guess I could ask him if he follows his own advice and ask how well it's working for him. Maybe I will study some Bart Kay and recite his explanation of the randle cycle to the poor guy.

Bad advice
My insurance has a rewards incentive program. If go to the website and play bean counter like games they used to cut a check. They would pay you $25 -50 to do routine well visits and preventative visits. If you check the boxes for reading their advice they will give you $5 here and there. Today I called to sign up for tele-health coach. Now I am faced with the moral dilemma, do I lie and act like I will take their advice just to get the money. Or do I try to enlighten the poor schlep blessed with my case. Some poor guy in a call center who must get paid by the phone call. He was talking so fast I couldn't understand him. Undoubtedly he will just be reading from the same horse excrement I read online earlier. Things like eat "every 3-5 hours to avoid crashes" Try a new grain! Blech!

Carnivore fasting can be unpredictable
I have only gone about 32-6 hours. It's like being on happy pills. I would love to do some more but my husband insists I eat dinner. I will have to give it a try when he is busy with hunting.

Hi and welcome to the community! So nice to see other ladies checking in. I have a hard time sticking to it as well. I don't have any local support, just a lot of doubters. The most regular thread here is the "what did you eat today" post. It's a good way to stay accountable, plus there are a lot of great ideas and inspiration. Feel free to ask questions and create your own posts, there aren't any gate keepers here, just friendly folks who want to help out. Hope to see you around!- Do you use Stevia?

No! I drank two or three zevias one hot July day in early 2010's and it wrecked me for the following 2 days. I might as well have had Drano. I repeated the same mistake with a Real Lemonade packet also stevia mixture. That's when I finally figured it out. This sweetener nukes my gut! I had a horrible experience with equal in early 2000 when I was doing Atkins. This was neurological in nature. At Dunkin I order and extra large coffee with Xtra Xtra cream and the girl asked if I wanted 2 packets of equal so I said sure. I sucked the coffee down and an hour later had vision problems. that was the end of equal for me cephalic phase insulin response is very strong with stevia also. Before all this info was on the Internet I used stevia drops in my coffee and it made me very hungry. Now thanks to Jason fung and gin Stephens I know why. Lately I have been fasting and putting allulose in my black coffee, it doesn't give me any problems. I started out slow but have added more and it isn't presenting anything.- Brain Health
Everyday! I feel better about conversations. I don't get triggered by other people's bad behavior like I used to. I feel this woe brings me closer to God, because the food noise isn't interrupting like it did before.- How to lower my cholesterol
