  1. I found a really great instant decaf. (Mount Hagen) I have much less pain in my muscles when I cut out the regular coffee.
  2. Hi, thanks for sharing your story. I don't have any experience with any of your health concerns, but This guy does many interviews weekly with people who have used carnivore to heal all number of things.
  3. Hi I'm 51, I did great on carnivore from February till June of this year, but fell off the rails for the last 2 months. I only have pain when I eat non carnivore. The pain truly is a great reminder to ditch the poison. I can remember when Mom ditched the butter and whole milk and opted for low-fat sour cream and sheds spread. I am so grateful I was mostly grown before that happened. We all hated that blue "milk". Hopefully we can help turn this disaster of a ship around by proving once and for all, that the food pyramid is not only nonsensical but, harmful.
  4. The one that is flaking has the preseason on it and the texture wasn't smooth brand new. Some times I'd just like to take a sander to it and start over.
  5. I finished the day with blade steak, full fat yogurt with blue berries, and decaf
  6. I definitely feel my midsection feel less dense when I am strict with my eating. My my hands are all over the place. Depending on the weather really. Some days my rings feel very loose other days they barely budge. My feet get puffy after a day of driving the bus in the heat. (No AC) All that to say Carnivore has not changed my fluid retention, but my midsection is probably more a reflection of visceral fat loss/gain. Also if I eat fiber, blechk, but why would anyone want to do that!
  7. So far today two hotdogs. Ground beef crumbles heated in butter. 1 hard boiled egg. I cup of weak black decaffeinated tea. I will I'll take some more weak tea to go to work and dinner will be a blade steak
  8. Earlier this spring I was trying to focus on sober behavior around food and had a short list of foods I wanted to try eliminating. I mentioned in August that I'd like to try a BBBE in Sept, but I crashed and burned on labor day. So posting my food is a bit of accountability. If I'm not posting it's more than likely because I don't want to share, not out of shame for eating but because I don't want to cause a stumbling block for others by displaying non carnivore foods. I feel like that would be like bringing pictures of booze to an AA meeting. I realized today that I don't have sober behavior with paper towels either.
  9. I can pick up on your Carnivore zen from your post. Have fun at your meat up!
  10. I second what geezy said. Talk to your doctor.
  11. I am not proud of eating so many slices of cheese. Its impulsive behavior. But hey I did decline the beer this evening. I am thinking I am going to dogde that beer in the fridge for at least a couple weeks. I managed to regain some weight this summer from being impulsive around food.
  12. L: One leftover pork ribs. 2 slices bacon. Ground beef crumbles 2 slices of bacon, cold ground beef crumbles with sour cream and Louisiana hot sauce. 3 egg scramble. Slices of American cheese. I tend to nosh as I am cooking dinner.
  13. 12:45-6pm window. Several eggs, two hotdogs, a blade steak and two country style pork ribs. Decaf with heavy cream.
  14. I am not surprised, the people working there think it's healthcare, so I don't blame them, but the medical industrial complex has other interests. I wonder if they would let you fast, or if you don't get released until you eat. I don't mean you personally, just do they have a rule patient has to eat, type of thing
  15. "Eggs" from a carton, no doubt. Did they have hamburgers on menu? There aren't any cooks in these places anymore apparently. I doubt they have fresh eggs on the premise. Will they let you bring a cooler?
  16. I like that scraper.
  17. If you want to try fasting, and are hungry, drink hot water or club soda. Those are both good distractions and melt the stomach grumbles quickly.
  18. Dr Ford Brewer has some videos raving about natto and recently interviewed Dr Ovadia. It would be good to hear a carnivore doctor round table about some of these controversial subjects.
  19. I believe there is benefit in ferments. Dr Sean O'Mara recommends to eat the biggest variety you can get, but to eat them like a condiment.
  20. Have you tried eating the fat cold. I personally have a hard time digesting slow cooked fatty meat. Recently I have been cooking chuck roast in souvide. Makes the meat tender without boiling it. Perhaps try cooking the beef to a different doneness.bi find if the meat isn't too tough I'd almost prefer it raw, and solidified cold fat seems to be easier for me to eat. It may sound weird, but I have always like cold leftover meat.
