  2. What WOE are you coming from? What types of meat are you eating? I believe the consensus is that ruminant meat is best, so lately I have been trying to eat mostly beef, last week I ate generic grocery store Italian sausage, plus salami and pepperoni, the next day I could feel a difference in energy and mental clarity. I notice I don't feel as well on just poultry or pork. If you are looking for the zen try BBBE for a spell.
  3. 3 eggs and 3 strips of bacon doesn't really fill me up the way 8 oz of beef does. But 8oz of beef at nine would last me till about 3. Then the hunger pangs start up again. It's all better than the leptin resistance feeling I get from carbs tho. If I ate as much as Scott listed here I'd get sick, but I'm only 5'7"

  5. 9am 3 fried eggs 3 strips of bacon Noon Ground beef with saco seasoning (probably won't do that again because it made me hungrier than normal, I really wanted a snack afterwards) 6p.m 6-8oz of chuck steak. 1st time using the pit boss. I smoked it for about half hour first. Two chicken thighs One more slice of bacon as I was cleaning up the kitchen. Decaf with light cream throughout the day. Ending at 8pm

  8. I get so frustrated, while I quietly listen to DH talk about his friends health problems. I'm sure you've all been there. Knowing how to help, but knowing also that no one wants to hear it. Just praying for ears to hear and eyes to see. It does motivate me to persevere.

I really would like to see some of the more intelligent, like say O'Mara, Dr Elizabeth Bright, Berry, Boz, Chaffee, Kiltz, Kay etc have a round table where they discuss the nuances, of fasting and fat needs. Sometimes I think I need to fast to optimize, but other times I think my hormones are already too thin and I don't want to stress too much and cause problems. So yeah, just within my head the battle rages, but one thing remains true ruminant meats are the best!

  15. I also just remembered that if I drink a cold beverage too soon after a meal, it created disaster pants. I didn't put it together until I saw someone else mention it online. But yeah I can confirm an iced coffee or water after some ground beef or other fatty meat is a bad plan.
  16. I have noticed that too much dairy seems to create problems in the bathroom for me. I haven't cut it out entirely but notice I spend less time in toilet the less I partake. Are you still drinking coffee? It can have a laxative effect on some people. When I get loose I take a couple citrical. It can help with oxalate dumping and bind things up.
  17. Do you drink coffee? It can cause muscle soreness.
  18. Sometimes I use the oven cookie sheet. Sometimes the frying pan. I like it crispy and chewy. I do own a dehydrator, but I can't imagine what sort of torture that might be smelling 🥓 for 24 hours.
  19. I am confused as to what the importance body fat is. Extremely low body fat is actually not good for longevity. Dr Sean O'mara and Dr Ben Bikman speak on the health benefits of adiponectin which is something adipose tissue provides.
