  1. Toilet paper has been more clean since starting carnivore. Occasionally there is nothing there. But TBH that area hasn't been 100% right since I gave birth to my daughter. I believe the doctor stitched me up a bit weird down there and I suspect I had an infection that went disregarded despite the subsequent check ups. I have to admit that during this season I have been lax in adhering to diet. I also noticed before starting carnivore when I ate omad, I had "regular" bm's. By regular I mean easy to pass no mess. Things tend to digest better for me if I condense my eating into a 4-8 hour window. I do know certain plants speed up transit time. For me that's beets and coffee. The poo doesn't have enough time in the chamber to have the water absorb properly because either the fiber or plant toxins agitate the crap out of me too quickly and that means extra clean up. I feel like butter decaf helps keep things running smoothly. Currently, because we still have a garden I have been eating cucumbers, squash and onions and occasionally ice cream. When September rolls around I want to try 30 days of just bbbe.

  4. Yesterday I took a chuck roast out of the souvide ate lunch time. So so good! Pork ribs and blade steak with garden cukes for dinner.
  5. On the topic, if any of you have already had a chat with doc, about cholesterol please share stories about how that went. I have hyperlipidemia on my chart. I feel like it's a bad mark in school. I hope the standard of care catches up with the hard science on this one and soon!
  6. I like Fage and Brown Cow brands. I have made it in the past. I think you just heat it(milk) to a certain degree and add a tablespoon or two of yogurt you have on hand and then you wrap it in towel to maintain temp and leave it on counter overnight.

  8. Hi Jughead, welcome to the group. Like Scott said, I prefer personal testimony rather than so called expert influencer content. I will occasionally tune into Kelly Hogan, for a lot of her content is motivational. But mostly I just like listening to people telling how much better their lives are now.

  10. I enjoyed reading your story. What types of videos are you making so far? I am 51, I struggle with cohabitation with carboholics. I know it partly my fault as I am the homemaker, but I know there would be a riot if I tried to serve them steak, burger patties and omelettes.
  11. Didn't track yesterday as I'm not sure how to enter eating the face off of pizza. I went to visit relatives and brought cold bison burgers with me. no one noticed that I was eating them on the sly. Saturday was a sugar picnic and I woke up yesterday and today with a terrible headache.
  12. Currently I have been maintaining. I really struggle in the summer with the lackadaisical schedule, ice cream and beers. If I want to start loosing I will have to cut out the dairy.
  13. Did better with protein today. I have a chuck roast and a pound of bison thawing for tomorrow and Sunday. I used the sous vide on the last chuck roast and it was delicious! Can't wait to have it again.
  14. I decided to start tracking my macros midway through the day yesterday. I am curious to know how much protein I am getting because I have been feeling low energy lately and watched a Lillie Kane video recommendation to track for a week to gauge it. Didn't get enough protein today. Need more beef.
  15. GC are graham crackers. I did get punishment the next morning with a bout of IBS, I don't know if it was the beer or the leftover meat I had at lunch. It had been in the fridge for several days. I will be declining any future dos equis.
  16. They got me last night. My husband brought home beer and it's so hot here. So I had one or two of those. And then judgement and self-control are out the window and another half sleeve of GC are missing.
  17. Started out with 4 oz leftover steak. Some cheese. Tinned fish Dinner was pork butt "ribs" a small steak, cucumber and watermelon. So tempted to dip into those right now, but I got busy doing somethings to distract me. This is one of them. Time to fold more laundry in the cool basement. It's hot here in the house.
  18. My thought whenever I am tempted by nuts, is what is that going to do to my insides. I imagine it Mechanically scratching and inflaming the large intestine. They tend to be high oxalates foods.
