  1. Not really. Cut some up in the egg mixture then just tossed a couple slices on top of the cheese and let sit a bit. Last night I had ox tail. It's amazing that something normally covered in poo can taste so good. Now I have a container of beef jello in the fridge. Thinking of using it in a hotpot if I don't add it to something or eat it with a spoon. Tonight I had a pound of ground. I got a heart and some liver in the freezer. Who knows what will happen this week.
  2. 6 eggs topped with baloney. Just sounded good....
  3. I got a 34 oz chuck roast today at the butcher shop. Looked good enough to fry it like a steak. The gal there said you ought to put that in your new crock pot. So I did. Put it in my new to me off brand instant pot. with some radishes. Dang it was good. And the radishes with butter was just like mashed taters. I know, not carnivore, but was no carbs. A few years ago I learned that if you got a hankering for fried taters, fried radishes filled the void. Anyhow, I ate the whole thing. ~I like soggy pork rinds. ~
  4. I one time bought an off brand Dutch oven that came pre pitted. It was sooo rough. And that's what I did. Grind it smooth.
  5. My new doctor lady heavily suggested I get one of those. While she was looking in my ears, I said hey, you know I saw some scopes online that you can look in your own ears. She said No, you don't want to do that. I said, hear me out. I have an idea. How bout I get one and shove it up my own butt and send you the video. 😀 You know, cut out the middle man and all the formalities. She lost her composure and we've got a long pretty good since then.
  6. Started out thinking some sort of chicken egg noodle stuff. And by egg noodle, I mean strings of beaten eggs that somewhat resemble a noodle. Cooked the chicken thighs, then added some hot water to make a broth. From there it went downhill. Wound up with more of a egg plop soup with added butter. Still pretty tasty.
  7. Tonight was a can of mackerel made into fish cakes with egg and pork rinds and some added butter. Nice change up. Oh, and decaf.
  8. Last night I had a pound of ground with 4 eggs and decaf. Tonight I had a pound of ground lamb and decaf. Think I'm gonna havta have another cup.
  9. One time about 30ish years ago, I commented to my doctor that my shoes were getting pretty tight. He said, "if you'd try sleeping horizontally instead of vertically your shoes wouldn't be so tight". So I made it a point to sleep laying down as opposed to in the office chair. Dang if it didn't help. Now since I've cleaned up my diet pretty much for the last few years, I think my ankles are the skinniest part of me.
  10. Havin a pound/ish of fatty round with three eggs tossed in and topped with some sour cream.
  11. Last night I had both a ribeye and a strip steak at the local butcher's house, after he twisted my arm and made me stay for supper. Tonight is bout a pound and a half or so, of 27/73 burger. This week, Aldi's has 5 pounds for $11.95. Fair price I thought. Nice to have burger with some fat content.
  12. Everything from the pooter to the snooter!
  13. I had one in may. Wasn't there long enough to eat. I had a driver so I guess they assumed I lived with someone. I didn't, and went home.
  14. I made some cha-paffles for lunch today at work. Cheese/pork panko waffles. For me and the gal I worked with. Fixed burgers to go with them. Dunno if I'm having anything tonight, not really hungry.
  15. I took some paffles to work yesterday. And had paffle baloney sandwiches. Last night I had a four egg omelet. Brought home some cheese to sometime try a Chaffle.
  16. Had a chuck steak followed by a smallish ribeye. Together I was pretty much full. Watched a mostly meat hotpot video today. Made me hungry and got to thinking. When it cools off a bit, I'm gonna try to recreate that. A carnivore hotpot is doable.
  17. Told one of my young friends that I had a sundae with ice cream and toppings. lol Said, Hey, your not sposta have that!". I said ... Well, it was a hamburger steak with sour cream and blue cheese. Same thing.
  18. I seldom use table salt unless that's all that's avail. At home I use Himalayan salt rocks and grind my own.
  19. Hamburger steak with blue cheese, four eggs, and decaf. Store owner got me a big bag of blue cheese. I'm giving some to my egg suppliers and the few friends that enjoy blue cheese. About four. 🙂 This will tie me over till next year.
  20. The other day at work I ate something that didn't totally agree. And hadda scurry off to the pot in a hurry. When I came out I told the old gals that I could've threaded a screen door at twenty paces and never hit a wire. They said thanks for that mental picture. 🙂
  21. I may try that just to say I've had bubbly coffee. 🙂
  22. Friday I had a pretty healthy slab of pork ribs. Then a couple hours ago I had bouta pound of bacon and a five egg omelet. Oh and Freshly ground black coffee. I ground a cup on the riverbank last night and it was so good, I thought I'd do it again. Probably go back to decaf during the week.
  23. I watched several short vids and a couple long ones. Some folks liked it and some didn't. Most all of them used cold brew or least let it cool down. James Hoffman (the UK coffee connoisseur) tried an espresso and a regular strong cold brew. I really don't think any of it is probably worth it. Maybe if I want bubbles in my coffee, I should just pour some club soda in my cup. It was just a thought since I saw it somewhere. .... Whipped coffee looks neat, cept I'm pretty sure there's something else in there besides coffee to make it stand up.
  24. That might be interesting. Fizzy tea. I'll havta try to find where I saw that at.
  25. Hey Bob, I read on another thread where you got a Fizzy machine. Instead of hijacking that thread, I'll hijack my own. I saw somewhere where you can make fizzy coffee. It looked good. But is it good enough to get a fizzy machine? Have you tried it? Fizzing your coffee.
