Haven't been doing so well lately. Yesterday I had to put one of my dogs to sleep so I ate a large Cadbury caramel chocolate bar. Today I just didn't want to eat, but I managed some KetoChow (for nutrients in case I couldn't eat the rest of the day) and a hamburger patty with butter. Hug your loved ones, tell them how important they are to you, both human and furry. You never know what's going to happen.

Been away for a bit. I just couldn't keep up with the topics and needed a break. After 32 days Carnivore, I broke. Just couldn't take the awful (to me) food anymore. I was getting really depressed about it. I've decided to add in avocado mayo, mustard, ocassional organic ketchup and very occasionally a square of Ghirardelli chocolate, or an in season stone fruit. I don't have any health issues, so I should be fine with this. At least for now. I'm making a big effort to make sure I get my protein (my biggest hurdle) in before anything else. Thank you to Laura & Geezy for their support!

So glad you are back! I know the group here isn't dogmatic about our food choices, and I think if those things can help you stay close to the plan, then go for it. You know what works better than anyone. We are all different. Like you said, protein is important.
