  1. @Geezy I tried the waffle pancakes for lobster roll bun, sooo good! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
  2. Side note: about 15 years ago I had a horrible experience with over consuming Zevia on a hot July day. I got very bad diarrhea and was bedridden for 2 days felt like food poisoning. I didn't know it was the Zevia till a couple years later I had the same thing happen with True Lemon lemonade also made with stevia, or the big food version of it.
  3. Some people don't bother with electrolytes. I have some re-lyte, by Redmond's, but I don't use it regularly. Probably I should as I have been getting Charlie horses at night. I use Redmond's salt on all my food and I have their big salt crystals that I lick when I feel tired or snacky. I have avoided flavored electrolytes, because I think they make getting over the sugar addiction harder. Stevia also makes me hungry because of the cephalic phase insulin response. Our brains register the sweet taste and cue the insulin leading to a blood sugar dip, hence the hunger. I am guessing your bloating is due to another ingredient in the lmnt not the electrolytes themselves. I have tried making Snake juice recipe, but I prefer the tub of re-lyte. It tastes better IMO.
  4. We have ice cream in the house because some jerk named me, bought it for my birthday. 😭

  5. What brand are you using for electrolytes?
  6. 3 Medium boiled eggs. 1 sausage patty 1 chicken thigh lamb burger patties
  7. This might sound totally off the wall, but I was thinking about vitamin c today. and scurvy and the mechanism that caused the sailors to get it. The body deals with carbs in a way that implies they are injurious. For one they compete with the transporters for vitamin C. Vitamin C it needed for repair and fighting infections. If you are assaulting your body with something it has no requirement for, you can expect it is going to need more C to do more repairs. If I were low in energy I would think more about hormones and how to get them balanced. Hormones need fat. Proper hormone balance also requires attention to sleep hygiene and stress management. By sleep hygiene, I mean getting light directly into your eyes when the sun is low in the sky, and using amber glasses in the evening to help cortisone levels drop back down as they are naturally supposed to before bed.
  8. Welcome to the community Scott. Wow, that's a great story, I hope your son decides to give it another try since your are having such great results.
  9. Do check all labels, we have had steak from Walmart that was in salt solution
  10. I can translate this better later. I will type it out, but people are looking at me like" put that phone down" I don't actually use all the ingredients any more. This is an old recipe.
  11. Sometimes I sneak some raw steak when no one is looking. I think my husband is getting used to seeing my blue rare steaks, but Im sure entirely raw would gross him out.
  12. If you want, I will send a pic of my recipe that I use, later today. Right now everyone else in the house is sleeping.
  13. Carnivore bars seem like an ideal option. Or make pemmican yourself. I have never tried either, but am curious about them.
  14. I have used an instant pot to sear and then cook rare roast beef, same as oven. You pressure cook it for 5 minutes then let it sit for almost an hour, depending on the weight of the roast. This works for the lean cuts like round roast.
  15. Welcome to the community, Micheal! I don't drink but graham crackers, milk and or chocolate seem to find their way into my face about once a month. I'm a work in progress.
  16. Today I started to time my 100 meter sprint. It took 25 seconds. Current world record is under 10 seconds. My first short term goal is to get under 20 seconds.
  17. Welcome Mikenna! Glad to hear your carnivore journey is going well.
  18. I have been walking at a track and have added 100 meter sprints a couple times a week. I found these videos helpful. Warm ups Form
  19. Welcome to the community!
  20. Chuck roast bits browned in butter. Hard boiled eggs, breakfast sausage patties. Dinner: burger patties with butter. Bacon. Hard boiled egg. Pickles, I must admit that I was remiss in checking the label before putting the vlasic dill ovals in my cart. They happen to have HFCS in them.
  21. What is in your crepe?
