  1. I kinda read over it and still not sure of the what fors, but I think it's pretty awesome that it stood up and running for that long. https://www.thetimes.com/uk/society/article/londons-smithfield-market-set-to-close-after-almost-800-years-7gmgnhnqp
  2. Yesterday was smoked porkchops at work and last niht was wings. Tonight was bouta dozen leftover wings and a hand full of cooked down beef fat trimmings. Possum had all them chicken bones and he chose catfood. I would guess he was a bit mental.
  3. Last night I had most of a bouta 5 pound rib roast, and tonight i finished it off. This evening I visited the local butcher shop and came home with some beef trimmings. Me and the cats are happy.
  4. Had a chuck roast with a side of boiled radishes smothered in butter. ... Had a chuck steak and some sauces Friday. And got a rib roast thawing out for Sunday and maybe Monday. We'll see how far it goes.
  5. I watched Ken Barry's vid about that as well.... I never bought any of it. Though I did copy their recipe they have posted as well as Doc Berry and Old Guy Carnivore's to compare. Never figured I would use enough to warrant buying powders in bulk. Last summer I mixed some, crushing daily supplement doses and mixing in water for them really hot days outside. I figure that'll be good enough for me and lots cheaper.

Been noticing more and more Carnivores coming outta the woodwork. Seen a new one this evening at the butcher shop stocking up for the week. "Seen one" as in she admitted to it. Not like I know one when I see one. 🙂 .. Or well, you can kinda guess when they buy lots of just meat. There's several I've met at the little grocery store I part time at. In a county of eight K , that's quite a bit. It's catching on....
  7. I do hope he puts a dent in the amount of poisons folks consume. But I bet the same bubble headed people that goes against anything that makes sense will pitch a fit. The little 3 isle family store I work at would lose one whole isle. I would rather see wholesome foods replace it. ... Back 30ish years ago, me and another small family store owner would often discuss what one should be able to buy with food stamps. We both agreed that junk food should not be. I have seen one family buy 30 cases of pop on food stamps. ??? And it wasn't for a picnic, it was just their monthly pop usage. I sure hope things change.

I'll never make it as a blogger... 🙃

What can a Duck do that a Doctor won't? Stick his Bill up his behind! I told that to a couple Docs in the ER office one time. I got some smirks and a lot of finger wagging. 🙂
  10. I'm no expert in any field, but I have a small jar with some hard earned kidney stones in it. And have had a few bouts with gout. (poet? ha ) Haven't had any since the late 20teens when I started bettering my diet with keto then on to karnivore. Gout is like having a kidney stone in your foot, only you don't get the prize when it's over. Maybe I've never had the actual dumping, but I do know I no longer have aches in my feet or joints.
  11. Two chuck steaks and a cup of Folgers instant decaf with bouta teaspoon of cream.
  12. Would be my uninformed guess that it may be oxalates. And time. I don't know how much dairy you consume, but you might want to cut back some. I just use heavy cream when I want something in my coffee. Some cheeses and sour cream. But not all the time. ... I think I've had two blood works done in 60 years. Don't plan on having another for another 40. 🙂 ... I do take vit D3 as I'm not in the sun much. Does it help? I think it does, and it's cheap.
  13. Back in February, I quit caffeine to see if it would lower my BP. Apparently not. Went 3 months caffeine free. Green tea, Folgers Decaf, other herb teas. ... But I still had about two pounds of coffee beans. So after no noticeable difference in my BP, I would occasionally hand grind enough for a cup. .... I find I really enjoy freshly ground beans, the smell and a freshly pressed cup. Mmmmm. 🙂 I have a couple single serve French presses and a 32 ounce one that I haven't used in a long time. ... I also enjoy some Earl Grey loose leaf tea. I also carry a small pot when I go fishing so I can enjoy a cup whilst sitting on the bank. ... It's the simple things in life. 🙂
  14. Glad you liked it. I haven't tried seasoning the water, but have heard a few doing it that way. I have just dipped it in salted butter. And/or salt to taste. One local friend says you can season the water with crawfish boil to make spoonbill edible. I had salmon and eggs for lunch at work and chuck steak for supper.
  15. Two chuck steaks and a four egg omelet. And a large cup of freshly ground and pressed coffee. Sometimes it just hits the spot.
  16. Sat night was a pound of ground sheep and four eggs. Tonight was four large spicy sausages and six eggs.
  17. Normal is a setting on a washing machine. 🙂
  18. Yeah, you can season it like crawfish. I've heard folks making spoonbill fit to eat by boiling it like crawfish. lol In some of Bills other vids, he boils bluegill and drum. He said carp is too mushy boiled. I've only tried catfish.
  19. Tonight is going to be a couple of chuck steaks. I was asked about carnivore from the folks from the butcher shop this evening. We've talked some about it. I think they're getting more interested. Told em, your in a perfect place to start, with all this meat around.
  20. I gotta chuck roast and a few radishes in the pot cooking. The radishes are so I can have some make believe mashed taters with it.
  21. I have that in my freezer, in raw form. And a grinder. I may try that.
  22. I watched Bill Goudy do it on youtube. He's and outdoorsy lowcarb feller up on the Mississippi river. We've chatted a bit back an forth. I had to try it myself. Just chunk up a catfish. Boil it till done but still firm. And dip in melted butter. It's ever bit as good as he said it was. I can probably find his video if you want it. Anyhow, it was good enough I still do it everso often.
