  1. If you can tolerate it (no adverse effects) by all means Raw>homogenized any time. Lactose intolerance then goats milk is your go to. I have yet to exercise (waiting to heal from surgery) but I have stalled @ 263 lbs for a month, just now able to fit into shorts I wore 4+ years ago. So sizes-lbs doesn't necessarily correlate.
  2. Click the link at the bottom of my message for some insight or answers to questions you may have.
  3. Another option is to find out when the local grocery stores mark down their meats, just make sure to freeze asap what you're not going to use in 24 hrs. Costco and Sam's club buy whole ribeye and cut steaks yourself. I buy chuck rolls from Costco and process them at home. Chuck can be great tasting and tender if you properly cook the cuts. Hope this helps you.
  4. That's great news @Bob. Welcome aboard. Here's a video that you may find useful.
  5. Carnivore the gift that keeps on giving. Keep sharing your results positive, negative and indifferent. Document even the most minute positives. Helps with clarity and keeps track of your progress in this wonderful lifestyle.
  6. Couldn't have said it better than you @Geezy.
  7. Grass is leaner so texture wise more granular in ground beef but overall my choice is bison then grass fed beef then grain fed.
  8. Carnivore is animal based so breads regardless keto or not do not fall into carnivore friendly. Like having sugar free soda etc.... it's not a good alternative. Quit cold turkey and replace with meat products. Carnivorous Chef on YouTube is where you could find some great ideas for carnivore.
  9. Welcome aboard @Alan clark. Here's a video that you may find useful. Carnivore is not so much a diet as it is considered a lifestyle. Many have a myriad of reasons besides weight loss to pursue this lifestyle. We're all human, we all make mistakes (falling off the wagon)),but we're here to support not judge each other. Don't be afraid to ask questions as the only dumb question is the one not asked. Cheers and best wishes on your new journey.
  10. At least you're not giving up/in and learned from a mistake. Glad to have you back.
  11. Had 1lb ribeye and 1/3 lb burger. Hopefully my pipes done giving me problems Back down to 263. After surgery I shot up to 271 from swelling.
  12. Well I think eggs wife bought were contaminated so trying to set my internals back to stable but GREAT news is I can fit into shorts I've been unable to fit in for 4+years hell maybe more.
  13. Yes it's frustrating especially when someone you love/care about fills their body with junk watches you become healthier every day better than they've ever seen you. Just know they're poisoning themselves while you're getting healthier.
  14. Stay on the right path and reap the benefits of the lifestyle.
  15. Welcome aboard. Here's a link for you to check out.
  16. A short video helpful to starting or refreshing our lifestyle.
  17. Spewing stuff from their mouths that's incomprehensible as well, just like vegans.
  18. Keep up the great work @Scott F.. Every step forward is a positive regardless how big or small.
  19. Welcome aboard. ^^^^^^^^^ Best advice Megan. You have people in your life you care about and they care about you. I made the change to be here for my wife and 4 legged furbaby.
  20. It's different for everyone as our body chemistry is different as well as our intakes. For me doing a 60 hr water fast was easy and coming off it I jumped back in head first with no ill effects.
