  1. I used to miss sauces , seasonings and dressings sooo much at the beginning of my carnivore journey! It's amazing how l now enjoy the simple taste of meat, butter, eggs and salt! without needing anything else!
  2. Thankyou so much to everyones suggestions and support!( im super new to forums and can't figure out how to reply to each of you individually lol) I've made sure to be eating lots of ghee( which I make myself) and i do try for the fattiest cuts of beef (eye/scotch fillet) but I will look at upping it even more as i know my protein intake is on the higher side. I do intermittent fasting , nothing longer than about 20 hours as i have a history of dissorded eating and restriction so must be a bit careful -I know for others fasting is a fantastic tool! I tried fat fasting on butter when first starting carnivore for a day also, I'm definitely going to try the local butcher for the rendered fat/ trimmings- I do particularly enjoy fat! Its 5pm here on day one and ive had two meals of sardines and plenty of Ghee. I feel great so far- I haven't had any cravings yet and feel very satisfied. So far so good. Thankyou again for the suggestions, it's great to have found this platform
  3. Hello everyone, New Carnivore here, I'm starting a three day sardine fast and wanted to see if anyone had any advice, experience or suggestions! I have done quite a bit of looking into it and others experiences on YouTube etc. "Sardines are packed with essential nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, protein, vitamins (including vitamin D and B12), and minerals such as calcium, iron, and magnesium, sardines are a near-perfect food. Omega-3 fatty acids, for instance, are vital for heart health, reducing inflammation, and supporting brain function. The high protein content makes them an excellent choice for muscle building and repair, while the vitamins and minerals they contain are crucial for overall body function." - simonstapleton.com Here in New Zealand i can source tinned wild caught sardines in springwater and will bake them myself to eat with homemade ghee.(Adding in fat was also suggested) I heard the fast it is a great way 'reset' hunger cues. I am finding I am ravenous on Carnivore after almost two months and just can't seem to feel satisfied ,even when I'm so full I can hardly move. I eat strictly- grasfed beef, organic eggs, salmon and sardines. I cook with ghee and use only celtic salt to season, and drink only water and black coffee. Wishing everyone a Blessed day Sophie
  4. I had been having about 150- 200g per day of grasfed organic butter. Ive also put on about 8kgs since starting just over a month ago so it's quite overwhelming. Have cut back on the bitter to see if I go back to my normal comfortable weight. I'm doing caenivore for healing inflammation , gut issues and brain injury
  5. 200g shrimp, 200g baked sardines, 8 eggs and 100g scotch fillet . Black coffee and bonebroth All spread over 3 meals
  6. Welcome and hello from new zealand I'm new too! One month carnivore, still figuring it out, the butter cravings have been insane and general meat cravings too. Wild times!
