Only if you want to satisfy some curiosity. It could go one of 2 ways. You get the CAC and your calcified plaque build-up is low. You can feel relieved and go about your business. You can then get another one X(?) years down the road, and map your progression. OR, you get the CAC and the score is higher than desired. You have no choice but to go about your business, but now you are stress because that number is always sitting in the back of your mind, lol. So this depends on your personality-type. I personally want to get one, and I can get one for free near me (thanks to someone who made a huge donation to a local hospital), just because I'm a numbers/statistics guy. I don't imagine I would change anything if my number was high. I'm eating what God/nature intended humans to eat, and my issues revolve around my kidneys. I could take the transplant way out, but I am banking on whole foods first.
