Swelling on Carnivore/Keto?
I definitely feel my midsection feel less dense when I am strict with my eating. My my hands are all over the place. Depending on the weather really. Some days my rings feel very loose other days they barely budge. My feet get puffy after a day of driving the bus in the heat. (No AC) All that to say Carnivore has not changed my fluid retention, but my midsection is probably more a reflection of visceral fat loss/gain. Also if I eat fiber, blechk, but why would anyone want to do that!

What Did You Eat Today?
Earlier this spring I was trying to focus on sober behavior around food and had a short list of foods I wanted to try eliminating. I mentioned in August that I'd like to try a BBBE in Sept, but I crashed and burned on labor day. So posting my food is a bit of accountability. If I'm not posting it's more than likely because I don't want to share, not out of shame for eating but because I don't want to cause a stumbling block for others by displaying non carnivore foods. I feel like that would be like bringing pictures of booze to an AA meeting. I realized today that I don't have sober behavior with paper towels either. 😂

I am not surprised, the people working there think it's healthcare, so I don't blame them, but the medical industrial complex has other interests. I wonder if they would let you fast, or if you don't get released until you eat. I don't mean you personally, just do they have a rule patient has to eat, type of thing- What Did You Eat Today?

If you want to try fasting, and are hungry, drink hot water or club soda. Those are both good distractions and melt the stomach grumbles quickly.- 10 week carnivore
Dr Ford Brewer has some videos raving about natto and recently interviewed Dr Ovadia. It would be good to hear a carnivore doctor round table about some of these controversial subjects.- 10 week carnivore
I believe there is benefit in ferments. Dr Sean O'Mara recommends to eat the biggest variety you can get, but to eat them like a condiment.- Day 5 of carnivore
Have you tried eating the fat cold. I personally have a hard time digesting slow cooked fatty meat. Recently I have been cooking chuck roast in souvide. Makes the meat tender without boiling it. Perhaps try cooking the beef to a different doneness.bi find if the meat isn't too tough I'd almost prefer it raw, and solidified cold fat seems to be easier for me to eat. It may sound weird, but I have always like cold leftover meat.- Day 5 of carnivore
I am sorry to hear you're not enjoying fatty meat. What cuts have you tried so far?- Hi, new Carnivore here...with a question or two.
- Best Fat Source to Avoid Constipation?
Professor google say "tea leaves also contain tannins and a chemical called theophylline, which are said to have dehydrating effects on stools as they pass through the intestinal tracts. This can hinder the passing of stools."- Best Fat Source to Avoid Constipation?
Have you tried drinking hot water? I vote for butter as fat of choice.- One week weigh in
