Meathead reacted to Oyodi in Diabetes in RemissionHi Newby here
4 years on keto and now 3 months on Carnivore, beef, eggs, salmon and plenty of butter and tallow, no dairy, feel marvellous, have reversed metabolic syndrome, diabetes type 2, blood pressure, BMI now 21, 63kg) and off all medication except Ezetimibe only to placate my doctor as my total LDL went up (LMHR), lol, but every other blood marker was excellent. Just watched the documentary "The Cholesterol Code" on Amazon Prime, a must watch documentary for people on a Ketogenic Carnivore diets.

Meathead reacted to PeterT in How do you like your steak? Many years ago while still at school I had a weekend job in a restaurant .... I remember a customer, when asked how he'd like his steak cooked replied, 'just tear off the horns and wipe it's ass' 😆

Meathead reacted to Scott F. in How do you like your steak? When I look at it on plate and I feel like an average to above average veterinarian could still save him, I'm good.

Meathead reacted to Bob in What Did You Eat Today?I spent Thursday night through Sunday morning with friends (2 other families) at a cabin we rented at Hocking Hills, Ohio.
Thursday was chicken legs, chicken thighs, brats, and italian sausages.
Friday was steak and Shrimp.
Saturday was smash burgers.
I did have some small portions of fruit that my wife brought (which is something I don't mind eating from time to time, usually on special occasions like this).

Meathead got a reaction from Bob in What Did You Eat Today?1 dozen eggs for me daily.

Meathead reacted to wendyand in 3rd day CarnivoreI just heard about Carnivore 4 days ago. I have macular degeneration and a friend sent me videos by Dr. Ken Berry and Dr. Chris Knobbe, who say that the Carnivore diet can help and even cure people with early MD. I'm hoping to learn more about eating this diet. I have learned I need to stick to meat and lots of fat, and to stay away from Sugar, White flour, Vegetable oils, and trans fats.

Actually I am being sarcastic.....
Geoff knows this is NOT chuck roll.
After processing it, it seemed to be select not choice but regardless scoring 4 ribeye loins marked chuck roll for $5.99/lb is a huge win.
No lip and pre trimmed. ie; minimal trim left for tallow

Meathead reacted to Geezy in Traveling CarnivoreWe will be gone a week. The smaller bags have a dozen strips and the bigger bags have 21 strips of bacon. These are manly for road snacks. Dehydrated really retains the fat so these satisfy you pretty quickly. It doesn’t take much. There’s going to be several people with us so it probably won’t go very far but that’s why I’m going to make some beef jerky to go with it.

Meathead reacted to Geezy in Traveling CarnivoreGetting ready for a vacation trip to Alabama on the 15th. So taking a page from Missouri Carnivore (Kelly) tips on traveling carnivore I dehydrated about 2.5 pounds of bacon and vacuum sealed it for the trip.
If you’ve never tried dehydrated bacon you really should give it a go if you have the means to do it, it may be my new favorite way of eating bacon.
I’ll also be dehydrating beef jerky this week.

Just look up Kent carnivore on YouTube.
Remember this..... Dr's aren't curing but managing ( putting a bandaid) on the problem.
Unlike the stuff that is man made, red meat doesn't need to be dosed to each person.
Unless for some unforseen reason your child is allergic to red meat then what's the harm in giving them a proper diet 🤔
We need to take control and responsibility over our health and stop trusting whitecoats because of their misinformation education.

Meathead got a reaction from Bob in What Did You Eat Today?9 eggs tonight fried with tallow.
Weight was 240 yesterday but wife cooked curry puffs and I had a couple.
So I gained 1 lb today but back on track.

I am 103 days into my first carnivore journey, and so far, so good. I started because I had a terrible candida infection, my asthma was out of control, and my allergies were so severe they kept me from functioning — not to mention having pneumonia three times in six years.
The carnivore diet wasn’t something I wanted to do, but I knew I needed to try something different. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life on inhaled and oral steroids. So far, I am down to one steroid inhaler and one over-the-counter allergy medication, and I’m hoping to wean off those soon as well.
Has anyone here also suffered from allergies and asthma? If so, how long did it take before you were able to come off all your allergy and asthma medications?
I am also a food addict, and I never expected this way of eating to free me from my food addiction. That has been an unexpected bonus. I just wanted to feel better physically. I truly never thought there would be a solution to my food addiction — I believed I would have to live with it for the rest of my life.
I am 59 years old and have struggled since I was 16. I thank God for the six years of respiratory suffering because it ultimately led me to freedom from the food addiction I had battled for most of my life.
I do feel saddened that among all the nutritionists, doctors, eating disorder therapists, and treatment centers I encountered over the years, not one of them ever mentioned a proper human diet.
I am deeply grateful for the carnivore diet and for all the people on social media who have shared their experiences.

Meathead reacted to Scott F. in Who's got my back????🤪It is one of those things I was going to look into when you made some posts some time ago. And for whatever reason, I didn't follow thru.
I am going to do some reading this weekend over at Google University and watch some videos at the YouTube College of Medicine.
These are the only two degrees I have right now.
