  1. I decided to start tracking my macros midway through the day yesterday. I am curious to know how much protein I am getting because I have been feeling low energy lately and watched a Lillie Kane video recommendation to track for a week to gauge it. Didn't get enough protein today. Need more beef.
  2. GC are graham crackers. I did get punishment the next morning with a bout of IBS, I don't know if it was the beer or the leftover meat I had at lunch. It had been in the fridge for several days. I will be declining any future dos equis.
  3. They got me last night. My husband brought home beer and it's so hot here. So I had one or two of those. And then judgement and self-control are out the window and another half sleeve of GC are missing.
  4. Started out with 4 oz leftover steak. Some cheese. Tinned fish Dinner was pork butt "ribs" a small steak, cucumber and watermelon. So tempted to dip into those right now, but I got busy doing somethings to distract me. This is one of them. Time to fold more laundry in the cool basement. It's hot 🔥 here in the house.
  5. My thought whenever I am tempted by nuts, is what is that going to do to my insides. I imagine it Mechanically scratching and inflaming the large intestine. They tend to be high oxalates foods.
  6. The thing I noticed about adding regular coffee is that my muscles in my thighs ache. They feel tight and sore for no reason. I used to be oversensitive to light pressure and would perceive it as painful, but that has gone away for me since switching to decaf.
  7. One 1/4# burger patty. Some American cheese. Plus two breakfast sausage pucks. That was lunch. Dinner was 3 1/4 pounders with American cheese, Dill pickle relish, stone ground Dijon. Garden cukes. And because I was dishing it out...
  8. Hey we are similar, I had been dabbling mostly just consuming the carnivore content on YouTube since about 2018. But I finally got my act together in February this past year. My wagon has been a bit bumpy this past month, but I am doing my best to hold on and not fall off entirely.
  9. Honestly, it tastes better without the stevia. That stuff makes me twitch.
  10. Hey, Jarrod, sorry to hear you are having a rough go at it. Have you considered transitioning slowly like Professor Bart Kay recommends? I am wondering if soaking the feet in Epsom salts in the evening would help. What do you eat in a day currently? What does your sleep hygiene currently look like?
  11. I understood the Molon labe, but didn't know about the TX flag. I like it. I was in TX for 50seconds in 1992 when my brother got married. He married a military brat and that is where they were all living at the time.
  12. I hate to admit, because I love my dairy, but when I did eliminate it for a few weeks, I felt much better mentally, with both clarity and zest for life. I should consider discontinuing it again.
  13. Such refreshing news. I wonder what it would be like to do a hike like that fasting. It certainly would be liberating to not have to worry about the food.
  14. Your story is similar to Eddie Geoke. Kerry from homestead how just interviewed him and he has a book out.

  16. Today I fasted until 3pm. I had a chomp and some bite sized chuck browned in butter. Bacon and more pan seared chuck for dinner. Decaf with half& half. I may have dipped the bacon in some sour cream & onion dip.
