LDL cholesterol high
I'm gonna say this.... F°â˘â statins and the Dr that PUSHES this crap if all your metabolic markers are good. What's your triglyceride/hdl ratio? High triglycerides and high hdl I have concerns but if your hdl/triglyceride ratio is 1.0> tell your doctor go ahead and prescribe, but just don't fill it after you leave.

Weakness and fatigue?
That's part of the answer hormones play a big part in your diet. So breast feeding, your cycle etc will really deplete your energy. Healing won't happen overnight but I can tell you this lifestyle has been detrimental to my being. I have been unable to walk 20 ft without being winded and sitting down for 10 minutes. I now am able to get around alot better, not winded nor aching like before. I spent 18 years that way and even had back surgery but still didn't help. Be patient and let this lifestyle change do its magic. Since we don't know your diet watch the video linked in my signature.

Weakness and fatigue?
Welcome aboard @Colene. Like @Geezy said it's basically a process of elimination. Too many variables will take you down the wrong path. Meat/fat ratio, you may need to up your in your diet. Fats are your energy source. You will need to make sure you are well hydrated with electrolytes (Redmond real salt added to your water. I don't believe in commercial products for hydration. Understand anything outside of Meat, saturated fats, animal products ie; eggs butter and milk may not be and probably not carnivore. Link in my signature will give you a better idea. Good luck and best wishes. We're here to answer questions best we can but this is just our opinion and not medical advice.

Restarting low carb/carnivore lite
đŻ I myself am an addict, alcoholic, cigarettes and carbohydrates. Since quitting all of the above smell of booze makes me nauseous, cigarettes smell like and taste like crap. Carbs are by far the easiest for me since I stopped the first 2. If you let 1 small thing back in you will say it's ok add another and another then you let yourself fail. Since my surgery September 16 I have tried keeping BBB&E, but my body doesn't like eggs and bacon so I'm just beef 3x a day now. I love eggs but my body says NO. Keep it simple and you won't regret it like you do now.

I have not tried grass fed beef
You could go to a butcher shop and ask if they have suette for free or sale. I got 2lbs for less than $2.00. Cuts from ribeyes and such.

What's your Dr's thoughts đ¤
I have my cardiologist on record saying I don't need to worry about 280 in triglycerides while having 33 in hdl. Get my 180 ldl under 50 is what's going to keep me from having another heart attack đ. Well I'm not the yes man. I'm a free thinker. I've also learned to make my point while being tactful. Younger me would have told my cardiologist to get bent, kick rocks after he learned something about medicine.

Sugar addictions are real.....
I stopped drinking cola when I drank my bourbon neat. I stopped drinking 4 years ago. Redbull was a must before any journey over 30 minutes from home. Once I started carnivore all I have is Redmond real salt in my water, and maybe 3 cups of coffee a day with a tsp of milk. I no longer need sugar in my life except my wife.

Hi there! Just started 10 days ago!
Welcome aboard @wat_meme. Hopefully you'll find this lifestyle lucrative in the way of health. I'm 4 months carnivore > chasing better health through medication and having my innocence (trust) ruined by medical professionals. I've lost 35 lbs in 3 months, neuropathy in my extremities nearly gone and too much to list has improved, disappeared from my life. All to be here for my wife and 4 legged fur baby.

I'm not really sure if we're allowed to post such things here but since this comes from biggest advocate for carnivore community @Homesteadhow. https://youtu.be/07QGhwonqJw?si=eBw7ALZAcLGxvWA I hope this can stay. Jeff De Prosperis 9/29/24 https://gofund.me/a6d22c3d RIP brother
