  1. This is NOT to be confused with American Diabetes Association. Thank you. I couldn't have done this nice a job with all the links.
  2. Sorry I'm not into public speaking or anything like that unless I'm chewing someone out for something 😅 Maybe hear my jams tomorrow while I smoke ribs on the back deck.
  3. Normal value: <75 nmol/L Mine is 11 So as long as this reading isn't supposed to be converted I should be ok.
  4. I didn't want to give up drinking but happy I did. I figured nothing was going to control my life if it affected my health or family again. Like @Geezy said not all at once as it can derail, overwhelm you. Best of luck we know you can keep on bettering yourself.
  5. 5 lbs pork butt, 1lb ribeye and fixing to eat 1.25lb 80/20 minced beef 😋
  6. So labs haven't been looked at by cardiologist but my LPA was 11. Is this good bad or am I screwed? Any insight appreciated.
  7. I'm not Bob but hope this helps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIAsSAgTRb4
  8. As most minerals can. I agree with @Geezy get thorough blood work done and work from there.
  9. Eaten about 1lb/500g after blood work today. Eating throughout tonight 😋
  10. Here's something about electrolytes. https://youtube.com/shorts/qIiO-ENzxCo?si=sQiBed7B_Wnj1---
  11. Rock, Redmond real salt, Himalayan salt or Celtic sea salt with water for electrolytes, all this marketed bull crap with Stevie and flavorings may not work for some people. I do Redmond salt and water myself. Dr Shawn Baker works out and is knowledgeable about carnivore lifestyle. He has a youtube channel. Pork should be like pork belly, chicken should be thighs (they have the most fat) with skin on. Limit yourself on any meat other than fatty beef ie; chuck roast, ribeye and such. Save money buying a chuck roll and cut it up yourself, Butcher Wizard has channel dedicated to processing sub primal cuts for people. Here's someone who has a video that may help you understand better than I can explain.
  12. Just be aware all natto is not the same. You have to try different brands and make sure they're imported not made in USA. I stopped natto taking advice from fellow members until my lab results come back. Good luck and welcome to the healthy lifestyle.
  13. Took 3 days and a ribeye, 3 burgers 5 meat sticks.
  14. “Cereals, whole grain breads, for example, they are also considered ultraprocessed food, but they contain various beneficial nutrients like fiber, vitamins and minerals,”

  16. Stevia and any sweetener sucks IMO, Redmond Real Salt and water 24/7 is my go to.
  17. I've always considered pork the other white meat.
  18. Grilled grass fed/finished organic burgers last night and grilling ribeyes tonight with new grill.
  19. Fatty meats. Pork chicken and fish don't contain enough fats especially when you first start carnivore.
  20. Don't you have someone to sneak in something for you? Where is this (country) facility so I know to avoid being hospitalized there?
  21. Sorry you had such a hassle. I'm having outpatient hernia op in 2 weeks. I'm bringing my own food just in case.
  22. Ready to smoke tomorrow. Got a deal on lumberjack pellets. VID-20240831-WA0016.mp4
