  1. I wonder if rolling up some Egglife Wraps and then slicing them thin would make a decent substitute? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. OMAD today. Brisket and eggs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I can guarantee that precooked won’t be worth eating compared to eating your own. I posted my recipe over on my thread on the Mighty Tribe. If you follow my instructions you should be good to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Brisket. Slow smoked for 17 hours. I ado smoked a pork butt but didn’t take a picture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Excellent point Bob. I do find it funny that after decades of these food companies adulterating our foods with plant matter the shoe may be on the other foot so to speak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Good for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I hate this movement. It’s so utterly ridiculous. Positive proof that vegetarians and vegans hate their own diet because the miss meat so bad they feel compelled to eat something that resembles meat. I’ve heard that they may even start cutting plant proteins into ground beef. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I wouldn’t expect any miracles. No longer that you’ve been back as carnivore you may not see any positive results. But everyone is different so who knows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Just another bison ribeye, some pork rinds and venison liverwurst. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. A pioneer way ahead of his time. It’s a wonder that we call our WOE a ketogenic diet and not a Banting diet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Chickes are great. Inexpensive and simple to raise and they give back to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Eggs and bison ribeye fat bites for my first meal. Then for my second meat two ribeyes cut from off the ends of the roast to square it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Oh man, I love duck eggs. So rich and tasty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ate some bison ribeye fat bites while I was making 6 pounds of venison liverwurst. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Seems to me I heard some little snippet about this. Not sure I hold much stock in it though. (If your in the cattle business you might have caught that pun [emoji6]) I don’t see it affecting me too much if there is any validity to it. I raise and hunt my own meat. 16. Second meal today was a couple of venison steaks and some bison ribeye bites. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Venison chorizo and egg tacos with Egglife wraps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Spring must be right around the corner here. My girls are back to laying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. A beef tenderloin would be great for that but if that’s too expensive then ribeye or sirloin would work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I just watch a video on this very subject this morning. From what I do and from what I’ve learned from this video I don’t have any problems with using it. Dr. Sten Ekberg says that MCT OIL is good for helping us get into a ketosis state but that coconut oil is not as good at doing that. Either way neither is bad for us but neither is the best form of fat for us. I use one tablespoon of coconut oil in my bulletproof tea every morning. I only drink one cup each morning so I’m only getting that little bit of coconut oil each day. I use it because the recipe for bulletproof tea or coffee calls for either MCT oil or coconut oil. Since I have the coconut oil on hand I just use it. It gives the froth to my tea that I like. After watching that video I’m thinking about using MCT to see how I like it in my tea. I do not believe it does any harm. Here’s the video https://youtu.be/vo_5K9zBdJ0?si=KSu7VWtaXVvZIg8e Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hi
  21. Had two more bison ribeyes today. Then I deboned 40 smoked trout and made a smoked trout dip. Now I’m in the process of rendering down some ribeye fat trimmings for tallow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Welcome and congratulations Ignore the ignorant and stay true to yourself. You can be a good example as to the benefits of carnivore and if after that they choose remain ignorant then so be it. All that counts is your health, not their opinions. Sugar in everything, yes, that was a real eye opener for me as well when I first became carnivore. When I started reading labels looking for clean food I was surprised to see how many products had sugar but also all kinds of other ingredients that don’t belong in the human food chain. It sounds like you are doing great. Keep up the good work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I don’t count the fat to protein ratios, I just make sure there’s animal fat in every thing I eat. My morning tea is bulletproof with better and coconut oil. Eggs are cooked in tallow, bacon grease or ghee. And meat I eat including chicken will be cooked in animal fats and have butter on it as a topping. Don’t just count the fat in the meat but also the fat it’s cooked in as well as anything you too it with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
