It’s not a big deal in my opinion. It’s natural for those eating a high fat and protein diet to have higher cholesterol numbers simply because we are using fat for energy so we need that fat running through our veins.
What important is Triglycerides to HDL ratio and yours if fantastic.
If you are really that concerned then go get a CAC score done and or a complete lipid profile done that includes looking at the size of your LDL particles.

I imagine that they are either....
    1) Vehemently angry, wanting to "peacefully protest" by smashing or breaking things. These are the mentally-diseased political snots. Or...
    2) Understand the concept of "eat real food" and will simply find plant-based alternatives to their protein and "dairy".

That’s a good question Scott. I’m not really sure I have an answer for you.
I have noticed a difference between rendering suet vs fat trimmings in how it renders down. The trimmings leave a more edible fat bit or crispy whereas the suet tends to be mushy and falls apart. I didn’t notice any difference in the liquid fat or how it cooks.
It can take a long time to render most of the liquid fat out of the solid so depending on how long you rendered it may have been a factor. I keep my temps around 200° give or take and continue simmering it until the solids turn brown (which suet doesn’t seem to do) then is strain it through a metal strainer lined with paper towels and I press it to get all of the oil out of it I can.

Parents are responsible for teaching their children in all things for living a fruitful life. That includes eating properly. But even with that being said they will do what they want to do once they become adults. All you can do is lay the foundation.
My children were not raised drinking cokes. We never had them in the house except for very rare occasions such as a big bbq. But once my son started working and earning I’m his own money he became addicted to them things. He eventually came back to his foundation though.

Perhaps the real challenge is the bombardment of noise from the ant-i carnivore segment. I just saw a short that said no wonder i was so constipated and tired. I must have fiber and carbs they said

January is World Carnivore Month. To that end, let's challenge ourselves to eat a carnivore diet for the entire month of January. The type of carnivore diet and the level of strictness you choose to do is entirely up to you. Examples of carnivore diets include the following...
    1) The Lion Diet. A person eating the Lion Diet only consumes the flesh of ruminant animals, water, and salt.
    2) The BBBE Diet. BBBE is an acronym for Beef, Butter, Bacon, and Eggs.
    3) The Carnivore Diet. This allows for the consumption of any and all animals and animal by-products, including dairy.
In any of the above examples, the object of course is to not consume any plants as part of your diet. Of course, we're not going to micromanage how you prepare your food, so your use of seasonings is entirely your own personal choice.
IF your circumstances don't allow you to go full on carnivore in January, then you can participate in this topic by challenge yourself to do better, above and beyond what you have been doing. For example, if you have still been eating grains, seed oils, refined sugar, or drinking alcohol, challenge yourself to avoid these items and just eat a clean, single ingredient whole foods diet such as clean keto, ketovore, or animal based.
We encourage you to check in daily, and share what you have eaten, perhaps a weigh-in if you're willing, and enjoy in some small talk.
Participants in this topic will be entered into a drawing for a prize (valued at $100) at the end of the month.
    Some brief rules:
Each reply to this topic counts as one entry. You may post multiple times. But...
Back to back replies may be merged and counted as a single entry to restrict users from spamming the system.
Participating ON SCREEN on our Monday Night Live's will count as 2 bonus entries.
Joining the YouTube membership will also count as bonus entries, depending on tier.
Participants must be residents within the USA.

Not much really. Some dumbbell workouts 2 or 3 times a week with a few body exercises and a long walk occasionally. I used to walk every other day but I’m just too busy these days building up my farm. That’s the main part of my exercise these days, just working on the farm all day. This cold weather has given me a little bit of a break lately.

Yep,especially after finding out about benefits in your own health... I for one don't want to get back to carb-o-land.
20+ years ago I was just curious. And I enjoyed the ketosis feel. Now it's about health too. Stent and heart failure and afib to name a few.
I rarely need spray nitro any more. My gout is gone, I'm off allopurinol for half a year and eat anchovies, chicken wings, mushrooms, nothing triggers gout any more.
I've been off statins for a year. Lost 28 kilos, normal bmi now. I can squat and get up again... just so much healthier all in all.
Christmas hi carb diet week experiment did not matter. I'm back on track.

    Here is one more:
Many think of "diets" as some kind of magic temporary quick fixes, often for weight loss.
They have read "I lost 100 pounds in three weeks!" -interviews and get frustrated quickly because that did not happen.
Patience is a rare virtue in Today's World.

How many of those who claim they quit carnivore list all the other diets they also quit? When it is approached like a "fad diet", that is how long it will last for many - just like any other fad they tried ... be that diet, clothing, jewelry, etc.
The same could be claimed by those who tried vegetarian, vegan, high carb, low carb and/or any other diet they tried and then quit. Many only mention the latest one they tried when they post about quitting.

I think carnivore (going in) is just like any other diet, there is nothing really sustainable about it. (and allow me to finish)
I think everyone who switches to carnivore starts off on a carnivore diet and like most all diets, people choose another route. it is the diets that are not sustainable.
It takes time for carnivore to become a lifestyle and leave the 'temporary-ness' of just about all diets.
For me personally I have been strict carnivore for about 19 months. I have not had a fruit nor vegetable nor bread nor pasta since May '24. With that said it was nearly a year later when I felt like being on the carnivore diet had morphed into me having a carnivore lifestyle/carnivore way of eating. And maybe my story is a little odd because I didn't start with any health concerns in mind as for me it was nothing more than a weight loss hack. I stumbled upon a ton of benefits early on, chalked them up to coincidence, and then once I was reading the writing on the wall I started to evolve from diet to lifestyle.
People quit for all kinds of reasons. If I had not stumbled upon the benefits with my autoimmune disease, knowing it was going to be a weight loss hack, I probably would have quit after losing 40-50 pounds (and called it a successful endeavor). If I knew which carb/vegetable/fruit was my trigger I would probably venture back out into the carb world on occasion. But since I don't know it is not a gamble I feel comfortable with so that too helped me transition from carnivore diet to carnivore lifestyle.
I think it could be any number of reasons, but I mostly think those reasons land on the individual person rather than the way of eating itself.

I go to youtube.com, I put carnivore diet in the search bar a n d set the filter for the l ast c 24 hours. As I scroll down every other thing I s a advertisement for something carnivore, they want me to buy whatever. Always 3 to 5 videos on why carnivore is so bad on that channel's science. And a few dozen carnivore topics rounds it out. O often amazed how I w sure the critics are that the "science " says my heart attack or stroke WILL happen soon. Just never ends.

    Welcome Mary.
I’ve been seeing many of those click bait posts on Utube here lately but it’s just that…click bait. Many people don’t really understand carnivore. Carnivore is not a true zero carb diet. There is no such thing as even eating all fat and protein you will still get some carbs. Even if you intentionally eat a few carby items now and then it doesn’t mean you aren’t carnivore. Even the lion and the wolf will eat grass occasionally.
Carnivore is about providing your body with the optimal food to get the optimal nutrition that it runs best on and that’s animal fats and proteins. If one is eating a diet that consists primarily of those two items I think they could still be considered carnivore. Some purists might disagree and that’s their prerogative to do so but that wouldn’t make them right, only dogmatic.
