How to be successful on the carnivore diet without having a gallbladder. Does that put too much stress on the liver? Also, how would the carnivore diet affect someone with a kidney cyst?

Hello jsmith!

You can be successful on the carnivore diet without a gallbladder. Some individuals have no problem whatsoever. Others may employ some strategy, such as....

1) It smaller meals more frequently - so your body can keep up with bile production.
2) Eat leaner cuts (you still need fat, you just have to space it out).
2) Take ox bile supplements with your meals.

This does not put too much stress on the liver. Your liver will adapt to the increase in fat consumption, and will ramp up bile production accordingly. This adaptation will take a little time, but you will get there.

And then kidney cysts are usually harmless. They only need addressed if they are infected, bleeding, or getting larger.
