Is anyone else experimenting with homemade Reuteri (and other probiotics) Yogurt for their health? I dabbled in it a few years ago and never really got it fermented properly. This time around I'm making it properly and it is really tasty as far as Yogurt goes. Dr. Bill Davis has a great book out called "Super Gut" which covers all the details about the process of making and using it. My hope is to see improvements in my MS and spondylitis, along with whatever else it can do. Wish me luck.

I make my own yogurt but I haven’t tried to make L Reuteri yet. I’m struggling with spending the money to buy something in bulk that I will only be using once.

I may still do it someday.

I treated myself and bought one of the "ultimate yogurt makers" on Amazon, Just due to convenience of use. It works well for L-Rueteri at 100'F but you need to set it for 97'F or else it may overrun and kill your starter. The first batch was coconut milk based and the 2nd batch is based on Half & Half creamer. The half and half version of L-Reuteri is Delish!. Now let's see if it does my body any good. I figure it can't hurt.

If you can accurately hold 95-100'F for 36 hours and not go over 105'F or thereabouts then you can make L-Rueteri. If it goes over 110'F then it's dead.
