If I had to draw a comparison between carnivore and the Bible it would be like the lifting of a veil. Once we were blind-but now we see. Who it is that actually does the lifting I'll leave for anothe

It’s been a while since I’ve been inspired to do this but I was today so here’s some more musings from my daily devotional.
Who are you a slave to?
“Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.”
Romans 6:16-18 NASB
Remember when you were a slave to your food and how you ate? It dictated everything about your life. Food was in control and you obeyed its every command.
Today you have a different way of eating that actually frees you to choose from the heart to be a slave to it. You willingly obey it for the joy it brings to you. I will gladly be a slave to carnivore.
We have that choice to be “slaves of the one whom you obey”.
You have been freed from a life of misery and a possible early death to now having a hope of a life that is healthy, pain free and happy.
Yes, we will all die eventually but how we get there and what happens afterwards is our choice.
