I don't know if any of you were familiar with him. His target audience was primarily younger college age individuals. I'm not into politics but I am a fan of debate and his views on certain social issues mirror my own because they are faith-based. His arguments and reasoning were often flawless.

Anyway, it looks like they may have caught his killer....

I would have hated to think this murderer got away with his heinous crime.

Much respect for your opinion and your approach. I'm not very political and maybe not as religious as I should be.

I come here for the 'meat talk' as well but I do enjoy/participate when the subjects get away from carnivore-when they interest me. I guess I am a big fan of communication.

For me, the Charlie Kirk post is no different than a post about fasting or electrolytes, working/working a rotating shift schedule, or Super Bowl commercials.

I can be somewhat hypocritical, I enjoy my privacy but am genuinely interested in how/what other people think. Sometimes the topics or the subject matter is just the means to the communication.

Again, much respect for your opinion.

LOL-Your post way back about finding a new pharmacy and then posting a pic of a meat store is probably my favorite since being on the board. I don't think that way but enjoyed the fact you did. I get there was some 'meat reference' there but for me the pharmacy thought process came from left field.

I enjoy that.

Scott

Thanks Scott for your comments.

I loved and respected Charlie Kirk as a Christian, as a conservative and as a communicator. He is a man who can never be replaced and I will miss him but I don’t grieve his death as I know he has his reward in heaven and I celebrate his eternal life serving Christ. I grieve for his family and for the millions that he influenced. Other than Jesus himself I know of no other man who influenced so many at such a young age. He was an inspiration and mentor to many.

💯 This. He is a hero and I am continuing to be amazed at the outpouring of love that has resulted from this immense loss. .

I was hoping this entire group would be about being a carnivore and NOT politics NOR religion. There are other venues for that kind of thing.

I just knew this would happen because not many can keep to their own business anymore. Politics and religion are private matters to you yourself and should remain that way. If you want to pray, Great, then go to church or start a religious carnivore group and then comment there. if you don't like the political times we are suffering through then vote your choice and let that speak for itself. I have my own PRIVATE views on both subjects and I will NOT be bringing them here. My views are none of your business!

Folks, Lets get back to the business of MEAT and the eating ther

I disagree. If I see something that I'm not interested in, I just keep scrolling.

Again, I try not go down the road of the conspiracy theorists, although it can be quite entertaining.

Breaking down the facial recognition of the guy in this picture and the guy on the stairs....two different people. Nose structure is different. Chin is different. Ears are different.

Sort of makes me take pause.

It also is worth noting that the surveillance photos were enhanced using imaging software and A.I. The actual footage really didn't show much, and zooming in results in too much pixelation. So image editors and A.I. were used to try and approximate what he might look like close up.

The "Everyday Chit-Chat and General Discussion" forum is for non-carnivore topics.

I am actually very religious, and my religious convictions require me to remain politically neutral. A lot of what is said online, even here, I may personally disagree with. I simply either comment using very vague generalities that we all might have in common, or I simply scroll on by without commenting. I can't allow my personal beliefs and convictions dictate what others can say or express in their posts here.

I appreciate having no real topic restrictions in this "off topic" section. Thanks Bob!

I posted about Charlie Kirk because I was a fan of his debating skills. Much of his moral positions are in line with mine, which would make sense since we are both rooted in scripture: the value of human life, human rights, the truth about genders, etc. I could care less about his political positions though.
