7 pointsHere are three things my wife and I have done to make our carnivore diet a little more affordable. 1) We shared a cow from a local farm. We bought 1/6 of a cow for about $700 which worked out to $11 lb 2) We discoverd a huge pack of rump cap in our grocery store meat section. Rump cap is also called Picanha in Brazilian steakhouses and is tender with a big layer of fat across the top. Once cut into steaks, they resemble NY strip but are way better IMO 3) We also discovered whole ribeye and cut 8 or 9 thick steaks out of a $111.00 pack...way cheaper than the normal $25 lb or so. Bonus: a lot people are unaware of chuck eye steaks, which have been called "the poor man's ribeye". Almost as good has ribeye, half the cost!7 points -
Glyphosates
7 pointsThe most-used herbicide on Earth just flunked a major safety test Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, has been sprayed on food crops for decades. It’s used not only to kill weeds—but also to dry out wheat, oats, lentils, and chickpeas right before harvest, a practice called desiccation, which is illegal outside of the US. This makes our breads and grains uniquely toxic, turning glyphosate into a debate almost as hot as seed oils. New safety data this month has shocked the world, causing the EU to reevaluate it's already strict guidelines. Let's explore. Even EU levels are unsafe In June 2025, scientists from the Ramazzini Institute published the Global Glyphosate Study in Environmental Health. It was a two-year rat trial designed to mimic real-world exposure—specifically at the EU’s “safe” level of 0.5 mg/kg body weight per day. What they found: • Significant increases in leukemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma • Tumors in the thyroid and liver • Effects appeared even at the lowest dose tested—which mirrors the EU legal limit How does the U.S. compare to the EU on glyphosate? 1. "Safe" Daily Limit: • EU: 0.5 mg/kg body weight (EFSA) • U.S.: 1.75 mg/kg body weight (EPA) 2. Food Testing: • EU: Only ~1.7% of foods tested show glyphosate (EFSA Pesticide Residue Report) • U.S.: No federal testing; independent labs show widespread contamination 3. Cereal Contamination: • EU: Mostly non-detectable or under 100 ppb • U.S.: Up to 2,837 ppb in Quaker Oatmeal Squares (EWG, 2018); up to 500 ppb in 2023 retest (EWG, 2023) 4. Bread Products: • EU: Glyphosate rarely detected • U.S.: Up to 1,150 ppb in whole wheat bread (Detox Project, 2020) ppb = parts per billion. These levels are technically legal—but they raise serious questions in light of the Ramazzini findings. Why oats and wheat get hit the hardest It’s not just about what’s grown. It’s how it’s harvested. In cooler or wetter regions, farmers spray glyphosate 3–5 days before harvest to dry the crop evenly. This isn’t for weeds—it’s for convenience. And it leaves the chemical sitting right on the grain. High-risk foods: • Conventional oats • Wheat bread and crackers • Lentils, chickpeas, and hummus • Granola bars and "healthy" cereals This practice, called pre-harvest desiccation, is banned or restricted in several countries. In the U.S., it’s business as usual. Can you lower your glyphosate levels? Yes. Fast. The Organic for All Study tracked four families across four U.S. cities who switched to an all-organic diet. After just six days, their urinary glyphosate levels dropped by 70 percent. This wasn’t a detox protocol. It was just a grocery list. What you can do right now The best thing you can do is just eat meat. As a carnivore glyphosates are not an issue but for those who prefer more of a keto styled diet it’s best if you follow these guidelines. • Buy organic—especially for oats, wheat, lentils, and chickpeas. • Look for “glyphosate-free” certified products. • Swap in safer carbs. Rice, corn, potatoes, and sweet potatoes are never desiccated. • Support regenerative farms that avoid chemical harvest sprays. Look for “no spray” claims on-pack. • Question “healthy” snacks. If it’s made with conventional oats or wheat, assume glyphosate unless proven otherwise.7 points

7 pointsO Lord, lead me in Thy righteousness because of my foes; make Thy way straight before me. There is nothing reliable in what they say; their inward part is destruction itself; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue. Hold them guilty, O God . . . for they are rebellious against Thee. But let all who take refuge in Thee be glad, let them ever sing for joy; and mayest Thou shelter them, that those who love Thy name may exult in Thee. For it is Thou who dost bless the righteous man, O LORD, Thou dost surround him with favor as with a shield. —PSALM 5:8-12 I hope and pray that this doesn’t sound blasphemous but when reading this during my devotional I just couldn’t help but apply this to our daily journey as carnivores. It resonates with me in how we deal with those who rail against us in our WOE be it doctors, scientists, family or the general public. I’m afraid this sounds like I’m trying to make this WOE a religion, I’m not, but I constantly find how scriptures constantly apply to us in everything we do. After all the word bible is a wonderful acronym. Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth7 points -

Hello New from Gulf Breeze FL
7 pointsHello everyone, very glad to be here and find this community. I have been looking into Carnivore for quite a while, pretty much understood what it is a lifestyle. I started last week, so almost a week, and adjusting my eating habits throw-out as I go. I gave up soda and all that 15 years ago, have been drinking lots of water since then. One thing I was doing was having Dunkin donuts coffee bottled mocha. I haven't had one in almost a week, and the cravings for chocolate and coffee are going away. I absolutely love steak, meat all that and with the butter, but I do like salads (not given in to eating the vegetables or lettuce). Just simple, meat, eggs, butter, and water and of course salt. I have been watching Dr Barry, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr letterman, Old Guy Carnivore and much more. For me a lot of this make sense, I love history especially the past, and I know looking back humans did not eat the way we eat today, especially with all the additives and progression of the food industry. I am excited about my new journey, and I already am starting to see some changes, sleep, headaches and most important is my low blood sugar, I usually have to eat every so often, they always tell me always take candy with you in case your busy and it goes down. But I never would I always just run for protein, like a burger, chicken, chicken tenders, or something like that, and of course I felt better, so for me this made sense. I also have an issue with IBS and I have noticed that recently my tummy is much better. Thank you, nice to meet you all. Do you all have a group's that meet up? Melissa7 points

6 pointsHello, I'm Kate and I'm returning to the carnivore diet for the 4th time. This time I'm hoping for a support community that can help keep me motivated and on track. I have been diagnosed with Axial Spondyloarthritis, an autoimmune/autoinflammatory disease, that has many effects on my body that I want to stop from progressing. When I go full carnivore my symptoms resolve and I have no signs of disease activity. It's a wonder I keep going on and off carnivore right? Well sugar addiction is real and lack of support doesn't help. Hopefully I can change that this time and stick to carnivore and stay healthy for life. Nice to meet everyone in advance and hope to connect with as many of you as I can.6 points -
Smoker rebuild.
6 pointsI finished rebuilding my smoker a few days ago. It was getting harder and harder to regulate the fire and heat in the smoker because the firebox was burned out so it was time to either build a new firebox or buy a new smoker. Since I like to build and create things (and it’s much cheaper) I decided to make a new firebox and while I was at it, remodel the smoker into something I’ve always wanted. So I not only built a new firebox but I turned it into a reverse flow instead of a direct flow smoker. Since I had to relocate the smoke stack I went ahead and lowered it down to grate level to force the heat and smoke down to the meat. I built new racks and added a top rack. The plate that makes this a reverse flow. This design allows me to use 100% of my grates instead of just 2/3’s of it. After I got the initial “burn in” to season the whole pit I did my first smoke on it yesterday. Lamb chops and a lamb roast. They came out great. I’m very pleased with how this came out. This thing really puts out the smoke better than it ever did. Can’t wait to do a brisket and some ribs on it. This thing is a beast now. The new firebox will never burn out in my lifetime. This thing will end up being passed on to one of my kids.6 points

6 points6 points- Body composition with carnivore weight loss
Today is 7 months since I started Carnivore. This morning, I tipped the scales at 223lbs which is 83lbs less than 7 months ago. I have not taken pain medicine nor inflammation medicine since late May/early June. I have Neuromyelitis Spectrum Disorder (basically Multiple Sclerosis but attacks the optic nerves). Other than a couple bouts with some bath room issues, I have only positives. The last month I have bounced around 76-79lbs lost. During that same time I dropped pant size for 40 to 38. Lost inches with pounds basically remaining the same. My weight loss has been erratic yet consistent, if that makes sense. The first thirty pounds came off pretty much a pound a day but from there it has been drops, mini-stalls/stabilize, then drops. I was on 79 a couple different time last week and week before but never actually touching 80. 4lb drop from yesterday til today. No change in diet, actually eating more as of late. At 55 I'm increasing the work in the gym and hoping to build some muscle/off set age related muscle loss as well as knowing it is the best defense against the muscle issues with NMO/SD. 7 months and I have pretty much nothing but positives. So much so, my wife is starting tomorrow. I am hoping this is the biggest positive yet. Scott6 points- CHECK YOUR BUTTER.....

6 pointsHi! I'm Amber. I have been on various low carb diets before with quite a bit of success, but in all of those successes, it was when I severely limited even veggies that I found myself feeling the best. So, after gaining all and more back, I decided maybe adding all of those "safe carbs" back was a bad idea, and it was a gateway to definitely NOT safe carbs that I started craving! My first week I had some decent headaches, but only one migraine day and I consider that an absolute success. It has become obvious to me in the last couple years that sugar greatly exacerbates my migraines. I am doing classic carnivore, so meats, dairy, and some spices, coffee, and tea. I am going to try to slowly wean myself off of those extras. I have cut many of the spices already. I weightlift 3 times a week, full body. I have been doing that for years off and on, so I am not adding any extra exercise. I also hike with a backpack with my husband on some weekends. I joined a forum because it seems that I do the best when I can actually read other peoples' trials and successes and interact with people doing the same thing, and I don't think the forums on My Fitness Pal go any further than keto. Thanks for reading!6 points- Hi, I’m new to this forum

5 pointsI’m nearly 7 mths on carnivore - 2 mths in I went off my blood pressure, cholesterol, type II diabetes meds, no more CPAP machine, full of energy - the best I have felt since I started Keto 6 years ago. Last year, I was hospitalized 4 times for pancreatitis on eating Keto foods, lots of green leafy veg…put on insulin and told had to carry snacks that could prevent going into a coma - started eating keto bars & other keto treats. Insulin was raised from 20ml daily to 80mls in a few mths - felt so sick, shortness of breathe, heart palpitations, severe chest & shoulder pain, doing lots of CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, blood tests…no answers given. Told I would be on all these meds for life… I was getting worse and felt terrible - depressed- felt like 2025 would be my last. Started researching, my son found Dr Berry for me, I found Dr Kiltz and started listening to them and their speakers and January 17th, 2025 I started strict carnivore.5 points- preaching the word

5 pointsAnother thread on how difficult it can be to 'spread the word' or give 'my testimony' on the benefits of eating carnivore. Last night we went to a local bar in a small town not too far from here. One of our friend's has a band and they have since moved to Nashville but are home now for a stretch. Their daughter who is pursuing a solo career in Nashville was home as well and it was a family affair of really good music. Babbling. In between sets or songs, the 'old people' were discussing all their ailments. As each told of their medical issues my wife and eye would make eye contact, and I would have a little smile. Then the next, and then the next. My buddy asked why, so my wife explained I was not laughing at their issues, but it was an inside joke between my wife and me. Every time I hear of someone getting sick, discovering an "aging issue", dieting/weight loss, etc. etc. I say to my wife "Carnivore Diet". To the point now it is a running joke. To show how far it goes last week she came home from work and told me the Jeep's check engine light came on and the engine had a minor stalling at takeoff. I told her it would easily be solved with the 'carnivore diet'. She is about tired of hearing 'carnivore'. LOL Again, babbling on. I was telling our table how many positives I have had with doing not much more than switching my diet. It is a hard sell to tell people that what you eat is only a drop in the bucket compared to the effects of 'what you stop eating'. Strange concept for most. And true to form, my niece had her phone out 'fact checking' just about my every statement. "I can eat all the ribeye I want and drink water, from that I will lose weight and have a better metabolic health?" And when I said YES, our table was fully engulfed. Maybe an hour or so answering questions the best I could, having my niece fact check and report back to the table that I was not near as crazy in the head as I sounded. My wife is on another attempt and she is about 7 days in of eating carnivore/strict carnivore and did the immediate switch to one meal a day (I think it is better to sort of let that happen on its own, but for her I think it is more of a diet hack than a long-term change, so we are rolling with her new plan). As soon as she said she had lost 6lbs in a week the other ladies at the table are all carnivores starting today. Maybe til lunch, or supper, LOL but hopefully they will give it a try. Waiting for the gym to open and passing the time. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Scott5 points- Let's share shopping/buying tips
5 pointsWe try to make it to Sam's just before close, or in the morning to catch the "short date" mark downs. We pick what we like and freeze whatever we aren't going to use soon. We just bought two cows that have been bred. It will be a long time before we see meat from that but still looking for some steers to feed out (this market is crazy expensive right now). Not sure how much money we will save this year, but hopefully the investment eventually ends up providing great meat at equal or less cost. Totally agree on chuck steaks- I think when they are thin sliced, they might be even more tender.5 points- Today is my Carniversery

5 pointsHello! I am excited to get to interact with this group. My husband and I have been carnivore since Jan 1st this year. Prior to that, he was consuming a typical diet, and I had been consuming a very clean ketogenic diet for about 3.5 years. Between the ketogenic and carnivore diets, I have seen great improvement in my kidney function and narcolepsy symptoms. Polycystic Kidney Disease is what brought me to keto, and a sugar addiction brought me to carnivore from there. In truth, I really wasn't eating many carbs anyway. Really using "my allowance" strategically to include plenty of wine, cheese, and homemade keto treats. I was happy and surprised to find that Carnivore gives me more steady energy and less food noise. Currently, I homeschool our kids and work very part time in Clinical Microbiology. However, I am currently taking a Certified Health Coach Course because I love helping others find health improvements using nutrition! I am excited to see where God leads us with this- I just took a leap and started Kairos Health, LLC. Kairos is a Greek word meaning the right or opportune time for decision making. I truly hope I can be helpful in someone's health journey. Here is the link to my interview with Dave Mac in case anyone is interested5 points- What Did You Eat Today?

Carnivores are lying!!
MimiDez and 4 others reacted to Scott F. for a post in a topic
5 pointsEnjoyed the conversation last night. I forgot the cord for the laptop, and it dropped from 30% to zero unexpectedly. Apologies for the abrupt exit. I thought about 'carnivores lying' for a stretch last night afterwards. Did they mean carnivores are lying in general about the positives of carnivore? Did they mean the individual carnivores are lying about their personal health? Good conversation on the topic. Like said from the beginning, going into carnivore I had no idea of the health benefits other than from the weight loss. On the day I started carnivore was nothing more than another weight loss hack, the latest in the yo-yo dieting approach. I was going to drop 15-20 pounds (if it actually worked) and then go back to eating like normal people. I had already lost 10-12 pounds before I watched my first video or read my first article about carnivore. The weight came off so fast (averaged about a pound per day the first thirty days) when I was asked if I thought it was healthy to just eat meat and drink water I pretty much said, " I don't know, but the weight is falling off so I'm going to roll with it for now". I started reading and watching videos and one of the first videos that popped up was by Cabana Chronicles and her using carnivore for her MS. My autoimmune disease is really similar and that triggered me to watch a ton of videos that evening. Over the next few days I was in constant research mode. I never used the term lying but I was skeptical, even a nay-sayer, about the results people were sharing. As soon as I would start seeing the light (LOL) they would ask me to subscribe, or hit the LIKE button, or buy this product, and that became the catch/the automatic disconnect. I was on gabapentin/Neurontin and prednisone for pain and inflammation and there is no way those can be replaced with a rib eye. As Mrs. Cabana Chronicles talked about not taking medicine I was waiting for the hook, "what is for sale today?". Then it sort of dawned on me that I had come off my long stretch of nights (six 12-13 hours shifts) and I didn't take the medicine for pain and inflammation. I immediately tagged it as a coincidence. The following week I pulled my four shifts and then two more slots of overtime and no medicine during or after the six shifts. Then there was third week and (I'm sort of slow) it started to resonate that there may actually be a connection to carnivore and inflammation. I think my first true lesson in carnivore was that it is not the rib eye nearly as much as it is the elimination of the carbs and sugars. Withing 5-6 weeks of eating strict carnivore (other than the drink mixers to help with drinking water) I was off medicine I had been on for six years. From there I was 'curious' maybe even 'intrigued' by the effects of the elimination diet. I scheduled blood work, both my regular blood work for NMO/SD and my HAZMAT physicals for work. I staggered them to get bloodwork every 3 months or so to check my immunoglobulin numbers. Within three months on carnivore the lower numbers were inching up and the higher numbers were inching down. After 12 months as a strict carnivore my immunoglobulin numbers have returned to what is considered normal. I have one number that is just a few points high but nothing like the previous six years. When the post was made about lying I wonder if it is suggesting I am one of the people lying about my individual successes. I am no longer taking medicine for pain nor inflammation. I have lost between 90-95 pounds. My energy levels are not super human but they have returned to levels that I had as a much younger man but coupled with regular fasting (longer fasting 72 to 96 hours) the energy levels are super crazy high. Do people think I only lost 75 pounds and exaggerated my claims so it sounds better? Do I secretly take medicine and just claim I do not? I get it. I was that guy too. I was skeptical/didn't believe from the very beginning. Carnivore was just another weight loss hack, nothing more/nothing less. It was the same as any other hack that used large weight loss as click bait to get me to buy something. I would never use the term 'lying' but I can see where I came from that same sentiment for a stretch. If you look at each of our stories, how far we have come, I won't say we have all experienced miracles, but I will say for me, I've headed down that path. Sometimes, stories like these are hard to believe. babbling, waiting for the gym to open. Great conversation last night. Enjoyed it. Scott5 points- What Did You Eat Today?

5 pointsYep. I had some of those same experiences. I don't mind sharing my thoughts and my story when people are willing to listen or thinking about giving carnivore a try. When they balk, or start giving me medical/nutritional advice that it is obvious they are not adhering to themselves it becomes a quick disconnect. From there, I just move on. I have a guy that works with me that is a Type II diabetic with glucose numbers that are high enough for hospitalization at times. The food he bring is crazy in both type and amounts. He is eating three or four times in a 12 hour shift because his doctor has told him that smaller more frequent meals would be his best practice. I explained I understand this is youtube, but check out these videos and when they reference medical studies follow up with research of your own. He said his glucose had been as high as 300 the week before and then asked about mine. I told him mostly it is in the 70's but every now and then it gets into the 80's, especially coming off a fast. His words nor his sentences called me a liar, but his grunt, rolling of the eyes and the , "yeah, right" all but did. Great conversational topic. I think all of us have experienced this is some shape, form or fashion. It is like a brick is falling out of the sky and I say, stand over here with me under this shelter, and they say, "Nope, my doctor says standing in the sunshine is better for me". 5 pointsWell that’s just so ignorant on several levels. There is no way on this green earth that being carnivore for only 11 months could possibly cause a heart attack. Absolute bovine excrement. It takes a lifetime of bad eating and poor health to set up the circumstances within the body to cause a heart attack. Some people can be more susceptible to heart disease due to their dna but even then it only means that they will probably contract CVD at an earlier age. There has never, in the history of mankind, ever been a single study that proves that eating what man has always eaten from nearly the beginning of time causes CVD. Your heart attack was not caused by eating carnivore. While it could be a dna deficiency it was most likely due to the diet you have eaten all of the years preceding carnivore. If you want to lower your cholesterol it’s your business and I’ll support you in your efforts but there is no reason to do it. Every study where they tried to prove that cholesterol caused CVD ended up showing just the opposite. In fact they all showed that those with lower cholesterol experienced more all cause mortality than those with higher cholesterol. There is no correlation between high cholesterol and heart attacks. I’m not just talking out my rear here, I practice what I preach. I’ve been carnivore for over two years now. In that time I have reversed my heart issues and my cardiologist has taken me off all of my heart medications and only wants me to come in once a year for a check up now. He actually loves what I’m doing with my diet and my health.5 points- Dr. Hampton

5 pointsI think it is pretty much the same everywhere. When you see that young Engineer out in the field putting his hands on things he will develop much faster and end up a better Engineer long term. If that same Engineer, does it from the office or via the control system, via a manual, then he will be a maintenance person's long-term nightmare. I too live it every day. And maybe my favorite part of all? We get a new/young kid right out of college, and he is assigned to me for training. At six months he is 'certified' and then starts telling me how to run the plant. Not, this is what I am planning to do and what do you think about the plan?, but do it this way?. 10-15 years ago I would argue tooth and nail if I thought I was right. At 55 now, it is, "I'd do it this way but I work for you". And as long as no one is going to get hurt in the process, it is best they learn the hard way. This will babble way past carnivore but.....I spent years in the service doing sound silencing analysis so sonar systems can't pick up the submarine I was on. We emitted just about zero noise into the water with the exception of the screw. That experience transfers to vibration analysis now with the point of predictive maintenance and making repairs before failure. I can put my hand on an electric motor and 'tell' if there is enough vibration or a pending failure. Last week I called the new reliability Engineer and told him a 40HP electric motor needed to be replaced soon. He assured me his vibration analysis was far more accurate than my simple touch. Four days later, at 2 in the morning, the front bearing failed, enough wobble to tear the seal on the input shaft of the gear box before the coupling came apart. 40K in parts and well over a 100K in downtime. His report deemed it an unexpected failure. I simply highlighted 'unexpected' and sent it back to him. There was a time when it would have been important enough to me to let everyone know. I'm way past that now. I am targeting 59-60. Hoping everything works out that way. Congrats on you all that have made it that far. Scott5 points- What Did You Eat Today?
5 pointsPseudo ribeye for today. OM Goodness yummy! I took a frozen $4.99lb chuck roast and rubbed it with just coarse salt. Then placed it on the smoker for 3 hours at about 160'F. once it got to 120'F internal I seared it on the gas grill @450'F for just a few minutes per side. Exactly like ribeye for 1/3 the cost! I've done this trick before and this is the best attempt yet. I didn't even grab a plate, I just ate off of the cutting board 🤣 I'm also stopping the black pepper on my food after listening to Richard Smith on one of his videos.5 points- What Did You Eat Today?

5 pointsWhen I was a carb and sugar eater one of my favorite things to eat was Pecan Twirls/Pin Wheels. The eight pack was a single serving container. Today I built the carnivore version of Pin Wheels. Hamburger rolled in bacon. I think I am l going to like these just as much. LOL Scott5 points- Glyphosates
5 pointsA lady came in the store today and bought a bag of oats. I asked, Gonna make cookies? She said No, gonna put it in my smoothie. And she had all the confidence she was doing the right thing. I've never had a smoothie. Had a slushy once. And looking back, the slushy was probably better for me than a smoothie.5 points- What Did You Eat Today?

5 pointsNot three pounds of beef here.... But a little beef-chilli-coconut stew. Lots of bacon fat and coconut oil. I eat some (msx 10g) carbs so there was a little bit of cabbage, onion and celery, too. Butter at every turn of course -and the stew was made in beef broth.5 points- New to Carnivore

5 pointsFollowed up on an idea from geezy. I put roast on the smoker this morning. When it was within an hour or so from being ready I dropped it in the crock pot for a couple three hours on low. Turned out really nice. Scott5 points- Really?
I'm guessing since you found it on the internet it has to be true. Scott5 points- The sky is falling

Pumpkin spice is a red line for me sir. In Spam that is.5 points- Are these compatible with the carnivore diet? Ketovore diet?
This list of items reminds me of my diet PC (Pre Carnivore). In the name of health, I was testing and trying every influencers idea of what they thought healthy should be. I have MS and that is my main area of concern as far as my health goes along with a laundry list of other conditions that sometimes go along with an MS life. I made the chia seed puddings and was adding flaxseed to everything, drinking vinegar water, homemade kombucha, adding Mushrooms powders, High dose biotin, Etc, Etc.......... in the end all I noticed was my wallet being drained by unnecessary items in my diet. Then I saw a Dr Berry video, totally cleaned out every kitchen cabinet and the fridge and never looked back. If spices don't bother your system then enjoy them for flavor but I wouldn't look to them for ANY health benefit. They may contain healthy bits, but the small quantities we consume will have very little to no effect on your health, IMO. I still use apple cider vinegar for my pickled eggs and unrefined coconut oil for ketones along with a few spices for flavor. Otherwise it is pretty much just meat (mostly beef). Leftover hamburgers and a few hard boiled eggs for today.5 points- Are these compatible with the carnivore diet? Ketovore diet?

5 pointsI have been on "Ketovore" with under ten grams of carbs per day. Good ketosis going on, no cravings for anything including alcohol. 20+ kg lost since November. Feeling strong. High blood ketones (2.0-5.0) are good heart fuel for my failed and stented heart. Those spices on the OP list would not bother me but I see they do no belong to a proper Carnivore. I use no seed oils! Pure organic olive and coconut oils only. Lots of butter. My carbs come from fatty sausages, yogurt, cheese, nuts and an occasional salad. My fat is 75% or more, energy % to be clear. Salads with fatty cheese like Feta help to keep fat up,all our meat (except bacon) is lean here in Finland.5 points- I am convinced that I can heal myself through carnivore diet

5 pointsI just found out this group after watching Geoff ‘s interview with Dave on YouTube an hour ago! I am greatly inspired by Geoff’s story and wanted to join this group to continue my carnivore journey. I am a 69 years old retired professor in geology. Had a heart attack three years ago. My left ventricular is expanded and EF was as low as 17% then. My CAC score is over 1400, with 30-60% blockages…. Geoff’s recovery from his heart problems through carnivore diet is just remarkable! I have been on carnivore since June 2024, feel better, but still am struggling to get my EF back to normal. After hearing Geoff’s story, I am convinced that I can heal myself through carnivore diet. I wanted to be part of this group, learn and share carnivore experiences. Thank you, Jack5 points- Post a picture... Any picture
5 pointsSpeaking of bad habits… 2021 Can Am XMR Trail 1000. We ride the Hatfield & McCoy trails in West Virginia a couple three times per year. Our group had 16 machines last time.
