  2. You won’t regret it. They are very useful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just a big bowl of venison stew and after the meat was gone it was time to add pork rinds to soak up the bone broth. Good stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Have tried making your own? I make homemade yogurt and it’s very easy if you have an Instantpot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Welcome aboard Jughead. The conflicting info comes from the fact that many are just opinions. There is no exact science in how to do this way of eating. It’s a matter of finding your own path to walk down. We are all different emotionally and physically. Our metabolisms and physiology are all different so what works for me may not give you the same results so you need to start with a foundation and then built a diet that is custom to you. So if you are trying one thing because it was suggested in a video but it didn’t work for you then be willing to adjust. Try not to overthink this way of eating. It’s super simple. Eat when hungry. Eat only when hungry and then eat fatty meat, use salt and drink water. Give it 90 days to see how things work in you and adjust things around if needed. In my case I did need to change anything when I hit 90 days. In fact by that time I had no desire to change anything. I loved this new lifestyle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Don’t fear the cholesterol but instead fear the ones telling you it’s bad. Education will displace fear so check out the Lean Mass Hyper-Responder report. Look up videos from Dr. Berry on this subject and see what a cardiologist and heart surgeon have to say about it so look up videos from Dr. Ovadia. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Charred fat is meat candy. I render my own tallow and I save what’s left of the fat bits and I’ll fry them up for a snack occasionally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Bulletproof tea to start the day. A big smoked ribeye around 3 pm and a popsicle made from Kiltz’s ice cream for dessert. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That’s cool. (No pun intended) I lived in Alaska for three years when I was a kid and then went back on a cruise for our 30th anniversary and then again for a caribou bow hunt up on the North Slope. I love Alaska. Today it was smoked rump roast and smoked ribeye. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well in the not too distant past people were arrested for their health choices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. That’s so cool. I’d love to have more carnivores around me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah it’s my understanding that seed oils were created by the Germans during WWI as a cheaper machine oil for their U-boats and tanks. Then after the war it was bought by the American food companies to be used over here. Once I learned of the process of having to bleach it and deodorize it to make it edible that was enough for me to swear off of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hang in there Laura. It must be rough to not be able to add some variety once in awhile. Is beef the only thing you can tolerate or are there other ruminants you can eat? If you can eat others that may help with some variety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I’m not sure who it is you are referring to but most people will think that seed oils aren’t inflammatory but I’m sure most people don’t even understand what inflammation in the body is and how it affects everything. I know that several times people have called for similar actions to be taken against Dr. Chaffee and Dr. Baker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. That’s perfectly normal. We all had to break the chains of misinformation to learn the truth. We were all brainwashed at one time including the carnivore doctors that we now follow. Keep doing your research and understand how we have been lied to our whole lives. Immerse yourself into the culture and continue to garner information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. As it should be for everyone. Pork and chicken can do that because of the imbalance of the fats they have compared to ruminates. And this is what I love about this lifestyle. I can eat until I’m satisfied and never have to count calories because it isn’t about the amount, it’s about how you’d body processes the food. This is true.
  18. We have had a lot of family coming into town to visit so I’ve been swamped and yesterday I smoked 8 ribeyes, 1 huge sirloin and seven New York strips. Everyone loved them or maybe they were just being nice but everyone went back for seconds. Sorry but I forgot to take pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It can be easy to under eat in the beginning of carnivore because it satiates us so well that we just don’t get hungry like we used to. Instead of a hunger that craves food like it did when we were carb eaters our bodies tend to just let us know when it needs fuel. A carb hunger vs a carnivore hunger. It’s important then to make sure you are getting enough food and nutrition at each meal. You need plenty of fat to go with the protein. I generally only eat one meal a day so i make sure I eat enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Welcome Laura. So glad you could join us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Been outta pocket here lately. Just too much going on but I did manage to wolf down a ribeye yesterday and just pulled a roast chicken out of the oven. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. They are fine if you are keto and if your body handles them well then go for it. Just be aware that they can be one of the highest forms of oxalates there is so if you experience any kind of health issues it may be the nuts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
