So what’s up with dating when you eat zero carbs?

I guess some of you don’t drink either and are on elimination diets but if you are not married and in a relationship things are a bit different

so many single women their only hobby is eating food for fun. Going to fancy restaurants, new restaurants and all that nonsense

I basically hate restaurants and I live in a neighborhood that is designed for foodies

Let’s be honest: carnivore is an extreme diet. It’s very restrictive. And we live in a world of carbohydrate junkies and impulse foods

Yeah, that is a tough one.

I think if I were single, playing the field, looking for Mrs. Right, I would relax, chill a little and eat KETO on dates.  Eat a salad, order a steak and explain you are not eating sugar.  That will impress, showing discipline.  Besides, she said YES to the invite for a date because she thinks you are cute and likes your personality.

We should develop an app for singles to meet other carnis
Carnidates

Take that idea and run with it. Become the next Zuckerberg.

I would imagine it’s tough these days if you’re young, fairly heathy and dating but I don’t see why that would interfere with eating properly.
I go out to eat pretty regularly and have zero problems eating carnivore and how I eat has never been an issue with anyone in with.
For me it’s all about my commitment to my health. No woman is worth wrecking my health over. Not even my wife tells me how to eat.
Even if you do feel pressured to eat off plan you don’t have to go overboard. Like John said eat keto.

It is crazy out there

but last night I randomly met a real stunner at a bar and it definitely broke the odds for me, as far as online dating goes which is not as serendipitous as just meeting a stunner by chance and every checkbox is checked off. So I met a wild one last night

come to think of it, even with past relationships my main food request was for her to make me steak and eggs and serve it to me. It’s pretty simple. And it’s really great because women understand the instinct that strong men crave meat and steak

It’s really a win win

Yeah I agree

back in Wyoming where I’m from it’s the same as here.
but I’ve noticed Asian women put up a big front about being foodies in their profiles. You know all the effing rice and noodle nonsense

if you go to a Thai restaurant and ask for no MSG the fucking chefs don’t understand what no MSG is and they put it in regardless

A good amount of younger people don’t know how to cook food

they just pay overpriced for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They don’t know how to make drinks so they go out and pay 10 times too much plus tips and taxes

but yeah, I guess you are right. Keep a strong frame

my favorite meal is made by a half naked babe I slept with the night before, she’s got bed head and cooking me steak eggs and butter

but uh.. you are being unrealistic because most women today have two hobbies: foodie and international traveler

its super annoying

You can educate her. This is where you can shine and stand out as being different. You can show her that you can cook, and prefer a home cooked meal because it's healthier, and allows you to save money that would be better off being saved for the dream house or diamond engagement ring, lol .

I can understand being young and dating and wanting to come across both as reasonable and not completely boring, lol. I still go out on date nights with my wife. I will revert to keto for that meal. I will even have a few drinks, typically bourbons or something mixed with diet coke because I still avoid sugar like the plague.

If you have a lot of major health issues to reverse or weight to lose, it might be best to take some time to work on yourself, and postpone dating for when you are looking and feeling your best.

If you really want to win her over, maybe make HER steak and eggs and serve it to her. A man who can cook and nurture a woman is mighty attractive!

I know this is off the thread topic and I'm not arguing. Some "modern" women Idunno is dating want a man to bring home the steak and cook it, only to wonder why the "traditional men" they say they want don't take them seriously, lets not get into nurturing😶. But I could be wrong as I often am.

    • "Marching into March with Much Motivation"

For this months challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to get up and move. Spring is in the air. The weather is getting better. Get out there and MOVE! Go for walks, hike some trails if they aren't too muddy. Or just make a goal to get on the treadmill or lift some weights more than usual throughout the month. Get in the habit now, and we just might have beach bodies when summer officially hits, lol.

Just like before, we encourage you to check in daily, and share what you have eaten, perhaps a weigh-in if you're willing, and enjoy in some small talk.

The March drawing will be for a 4-pack of Carnivore Bars!

Every Reply in this topic will count as an entry for this month's prize drawing. Back-to-back posts count as 1 entry as a counter to spamming.

Attending Monday night zoom also counts as a bonus entry. Being a supporter of our YouTube channel also gives you an entry.

    • Today is February 1st and marks the first day of "National Fasting February" - and yes, this is a thing. Google it!

For this month's challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to practice various forms of fasting throughout the month. The type of fasting you wish to do is entirely up to you. We are going to encourage INTERMITTENT FASTING, that is to put it simply, skipping a meal so that you are only eating 2 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meals a day. The goal is to enjoy these meals within an 8 hour "feasting window" and then no food in the remaining 16 hours "fasting window" (in which 8 of those hours you should be sleeping).

An example is waking up at 7am, but waiting until 11am-noon for your first meal, and then having dinner at 6-7pm for your 2nd meal. Other people prefer to eat a breakfast, then a mid-day lunch, and skip dinner.

If you want to throw in a 24, 48, or 72 hour fast just to show off by all mean do so, lol.
