Great, now Walmart is going to run out of meat 😄

I’ll bet 90% of the people that heard that didn’t even know what he was talking about.

101% Agreed and it's maybe even more than 90% of people. After doing this WOE for 4 years now when I hear non carnivores or even non-ketos speak about their health and their WOE and all the meds they are on I just remain quiet and go on with my own life. When I first started and had such great success with carnivore I was telling everyone about it to the point of being annoying, and I quickly found out NO ONE gives a shit about their own health as long as they are not having any major issues. Recently had a family get together with the in-laws and some of them were saying how they are on statins along with a few other meds and they have no idea why it was prescribed. They just trust their horrible old doctors. They don't even know what their blood work numbers mean and they were all eating the sugary crap that people brought. I almost bit through my tongue to remain quiet, but I did and said to myself "oh well, it's NOT my job to save THEIR lives". I also have an old work friend who is very pre-diabetic and he is convinced that he could never eat this way nor afford it even though I showed him how we spend about 1/3 less on food bills by not buying all the crap we used to buy. He did get his A1C down to 7 and his doctor told him that was normal range now. I said nothing about that to him. There again "not my job". The whole thing is so sad!

Yeah I get it @Terry it’s a shame that people would rather trust a doctor who is ignorant about nutrition and just swallow pills than change what they eat and know true freedom from food and medicine.
You are right though. It’s not your job to tell them and they don’t care anyways. We all want to shout it from the rooftops when we first experience the benefits of this WOE but we just find ourselves preaching to the wilderness. All we can do is be a good example and when we are asked we can give our testimony.

Meat is my drug of choice now. I had a yearly check-up a few years ago and told the doctor that I was eating a carnivore diet and she said "no-no-no, you still should have some carbs". I laughed right at her and said "why?" - I'm still waiting for the answer 😂. She's seems like a nice lady so I don't say anything about nutrition now unless she asks me. It's a free but really useless exam. I'm not sure it really is of any benefit to me personally. They do basic blood work and my LDL numbers are high (but the ratio they check is fantastic), she freaks out, calls the house and I say "I'm good, I'm on a carnivore diet"

Yeah I’m going through the same things.
I go in for a Physical every six months. Supposedly Medicare requires it because I have had some health issues. My doc loves everything about how I’ve turned my life and health around but can only focus on the Cholesterol and statins. We have yet to have that long talk but like you I just smile and say no thank you, I’m good.
I don’t know if my doctor will ever come around because he’s caught up in the mainstream medical hype but it’s funny that he threatened to send my last blood work to my cardiologist and I just told him to go ahead, my cardiologist knows I’m carnivore and completely supports me in what I’m doing because it’s reversed my heart disease.

Maybe soon "the truth" will come out. who knows?. All I know is this WOE just works for me and my wife. She's also a lean mass hyper responder.

My two Neurologists are genuinely excited about my progress with Carnivore. One specializes in MS and the wheels, although slow, are starting to turn in the research part of that community. If one guy shows up with improvements with changing his way of eating it is a one off. When a hundred show up it still does not warrant much attention. When a thousand show up it lifts the eyebrow of some in the medical community. When thousands and thousands start singing its praises that can be the trigger for moving forward. Again, very slow.

My Neurologist actually checks up on me in between appointments because of Carnivore. I don't know if she has gotten to the point she recommends carnivore to her other patients as thus far, the Mayon clinic in Minneapolis, (maybe the premier MS facility anywhere) is still on-board with the traditional approach.

My family doctor does not mind the diet but thinks the higher fat content is not good and he also is a fan of the newer non-statin type cholesterol type medicines. He gave me a month/two months worth of samples and I smiled, said thank you. They are on the shelf in the same spot I left them months ago.

I'm still amazed how the person in front of me eating a trash diet, with all sort so health issues automatically become a Cardiologist, a Dietician, a Nutritional expert, as well as an Oncologist and Gasto-Intestinal specialist at the very point i say, "I just eat meat, salt and water".

It is by far the fastest way to a medical degree. LOL

This is why I tell people to be honest with their doctors about being a carnivore.

Oh and my wife finally said she needs to eat carnivore.  One problem is she says she doesn't like beef.

Plenty of other meats out there to eat just make sure she gets plenty of fat.

    • "Marching into March with Much Motivation"

For this months challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to get up and move. Spring is in the air. The weather is getting better. Get out there and MOVE! Go for walks, hike some trails if they aren't too muddy. Or just make a goal to get on the treadmill or lift some weights more than usual throughout the month. Get in the habit now, and we just might have beach bodies when summer officially hits, lol.

Just like before, we encourage you to check in daily, and share what you have eaten, perhaps a weigh-in if you're willing, and enjoy in some small talk.

The March drawing will be for a 4-pack of Carnivore Bars!

Every Reply in this topic will count as an entry for this month's prize drawing. Back-to-back posts count as 1 entry as a counter to spamming.

Attending Monday night zoom also counts as a bonus entry. Being a supporter of our YouTube channel also gives you an entry.

    • Today is February 1st and marks the first day of "National Fasting February" - and yes, this is a thing. Google it!

For this month's challenge, we are going to support each other in our efforts to practice various forms of fasting throughout the month. The type of fasting you wish to do is entirely up to you. We are going to encourage INTERMITTENT FASTING, that is to put it simply, skipping a meal so that you are only eating 2 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meals a day. The goal is to enjoy these meals within an 8 hour "feasting window" and then no food in the remaining 16 hours "fasting window" (in which 8 of those hours you should be sleeping).

An example is waking up at 7am, but waiting until 11am-noon for your first meal, and then having dinner at 6-7pm for your 2nd meal. Other people prefer to eat a breakfast, then a mid-day lunch, and skip dinner.

If you want to throw in a 24, 48, or 72 hour fast just to show off by all mean do so, lol.
