I think this is the case with most everything.

The marketing, the marketing and even the front of the labels can be very misleading on a lot of products.

I have not used olive oil in just about two years now but the bottle we have is a couple dollars more per bottle than some of the others on the shelf. I have never read the label, but we always bought that particular brand because it is the one my wife prefers.

After last night I am going to check out the label.

I was shocked to learn that most olive oils are adulterated. I have the California brand in my pantry. Checked into it a few years back, but this is a good reminder to check again, as these companies get bought out and tend to change their products.
